Windy Borman is a multi-award-winning director and producer, as well the founder of DVA Productions. Most recently, she directed and produced the 10-time award-winning documentary, THE EYES OF THAILAND, narrated by Ashley Judd, which screened at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.
She also produced THE BIG PICTURE: RETHINKING DYSLEXIA, which had its world premiere at Sundance 2012 and its broadcast premiere on HBO. Other credits include producing and directing THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES producing performances for Margaret Cho and Dr. Maya Angelou, and writing for Takepart.com and IndieWire: Women and Hollywood.
Windy is an active member in Women in Film and Television with 15 years experience producing, directing, writing, and production managing films, documentaries and branded content.
From 2003-2005 Ms. Borman dedicated two years to Teach For America, where she taught middle school drama and dance in the South Bronx. She founded DVA Productions in 2006 to produce films and social media campaigns that give a voice to the voiceless and promote peace, justice and equality.
