Marriage Story (2019)
Don't miss this!
It's based on the life of a couple who are trying to get a divorce and distance themselves from each other, they hate one another for all the mistakes they've made in their relationship, but they still respect each other and deep down still have some love for each other.
This is one of the best performances by Scarlett and Adam Driver was amazing too.
I guess Scarlett would've highly related to the script because she had several divorces in the past, so she knows how it feels during that phase, the heartbreak, the excruciating mental trauma you go through and that can be seen in her performance. She's so natural in the emotional and verbal fight scenes.
P.S: I watched it at the Mumbai Film Festival (India) and I am planning to watch it again once it premieres on Netflix.
After Life (2019)
It will give you a different perspective on life
It hits the right notes right from the beginning to the end.
We all have our share of problems but we can't go on ranting about it all the time and stop enjoying the short time we are here on this planet. That's what this show wants to say and that's what we forget and we keep milking our problems and make it more hurtful.
Totally enjoyed and loved it! Kudos to Ricky and Netflix for such refreshing content.
Kabir Singh (2019)
Good one time watch
Shahid and Kiara were terrific, and they did justice to their characters. I know it's just a movie, and one should not exaggerate it, but I don't understand why women are finding the character like Kabir so charismatic and full of machismo. He literally abused his girl whom he loved with all his heart and was demanding all the time. Being a man, I didn't like it.
Game of Thrones: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2019)
Calm before the storm
This is one of the best episodes of the show yet.
All the characters recalling what they did throughout their lives, their success, their failure, everything and having a good time for the one last time is so heartwarming.
Amazing build up to the oncoming storm.
The board is set, and the endgame is about to begin...
Game of Thrones: Winterfell (2019)
Great start to the season
Don't believe the people who are saying it's a slow start or a boring episode.
Basically, it's a build-up to further episodes. It's an episode full of reunion, love, and memories.
And as a GoT fan, I thoroughly loved it!
I am sad that the show is coming to an end, but I am happy at the same time that it happened.
Because everything has an end, even Game of Thrones.
VALAR MORGHULIS
The Final Call (2019)
Edge of the seat thrill
Amazing direction. Great storyline. Fuelled by top-notch acting by Arjun Rampal (I am pissed to see that he's so underrated!!!!) and each and every artist do their job perfectly.
It's a breath of fresh air in the world of Indian digital video streaming, where almost all the shows are based on gang fights and sex.
It keeps you hooked to the last minute and leaves you needing for more.
This is one of the best Indian web series I've ever seen.
P.S - I guess it's not complete. Probably they'll add few more episodes.
Rangbaaz (2018)
One time watch
Storyline looks dull in the beginning but things start getting interesting from the 5th episode.
Saquib Salim and Tigmanshu Dhulia are the powerhouse of the series with their spectacular acting. Mediocre acting by few actors which I personally didn't like. But all in all it's a pretty good series. But don't make a mistake of comparing it with Sacred Games and Mirzapur, because they're on another level.
