X-Men '97: To Me, My X-Men (2024)
Mission accomplish!!
When I eared that X-Men 97 what was coming up And that there was supposed to be their direct contamination of X-Men 92. I decide to look the whole series of X-Men 92.
Being a fans of the X-Men live action movies for decades I was not disappoint. I was Even more surprised to see that most of the live action movie where directly bays on the storylines of X-Men 92. So if you haven't seen completely, the X-Men 92 series, I strongly recommend that you look at it before looking at X-Men 97,
That being said, the bar was really high, but when I watch the first episode of X-Men 97 I was flabbergasted! Not only the continuation is impeccable, but the increase resolution and colors add a lot to the visual experience.
The cast is still awesome and the action for this first episode is completely insane. Storm is absolutely wonderful and epic. And wolverine Is steel the bad ass, smart mouth, angry Bob that we all like.
I think the producers and the writers I've done tremendous work and are perfectly in line with the highest expectations of X-Men fan.
Can't wait to see the next episode and I'm so glad to hear that they already signed for a second and third season.
Ghost in the Shell (2017)
Appreciated by a true fan
Before watching this film, I took the time to do something I've wanted to do for years, which was to watch the entire Ghost in the Shell animated work, in chronological order of the story of Motoko Kusanagi, starting of course with the Arise series.
So I watched all the films and series from Motoko's very debut in the section 9 (even before she was named Major), up to the very last series currently on Netflix (Ghost in the Shell - SAC 2045).
Yep, it's a lot of hours, but easy when you consider that it's a masterpiece.
I was apprehensive about the live action movie, because I knew that it had not been very popular with critics and that there had been controversy upon release, damaging the image of the film.
Maybe it's because my expectations were limited, but I was quite pleasantly surprised by the result.
The film is very visually rich and respects the cyberpunk-urban style world of Ghost in the Shell surprisingly well. The characters are quite well respected and the casting of Scarlett Johanson is not so bad. Although she doesn't match the charisma and sex appeal of Motoko from the anime, her attitude and style match the style of the Major.
The original story is complex and interesting and corresponds to a mixture of important elements found among the different anime.
It's pretty cool to see scenes almost identical to the first anime and I must say that the overall production is well done.
Overall, I believe that a fan of the anime will be very satisfied with this live action and especially with being able to see another story version of the most badass-sexy-cyborg I know.
Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 (2020)
Fantastic Cyber Thriller!
I have watched the 24 episodes straight and this serie/story/thriller is incredibly intense and deep.
The post human idea mix with cyber espionnage is very original and keep high thrill to almost every episode.
The action is breathtaking and the plot unfold in totally unexpected ways.
And what can I say about Major Kusanagi... she's just perfect in this serie. Gorgeous and so effective...always a pleasure to see her in her combat suit...wow!
Batou and the other characters are also very well elaborate especially Saito, the great sniper!
The storyline could be a bit complicated...as many of the GITS stories, but remember it's not for young kids!
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)
Mindblowing Action
From the great soundtrack to the fantastic drawing techniques and visuals, this movie has it all!
The storyline is captivating and follows the previous movie very naturally. Characters are well made, deep, authentic and there's some very funny lines.
And what can I say about the action scenes?!?? Mindblowing Hardcore Action fueled with crazy immaginatives characters and worlds.
And all that wrap in an ultra stylish non stop visual!
I love japanese amine and I think they are the best, but this movie top even most of them.
Great job from Marvel and Sony animation.
Can't wait to see the next one!!
Naruto: Sanjo! Uzumaki Naruto (2002)
So much in this episode
After seeing all the 720 episodes of Naruto, I'm watching this firdt one sometimes and still can feel the emotion grow in me at the end of the episode.
Beruseruku: The Corruption of Qliphoth (2017)
Disturbing
I have seen many crazy stuff in many anime, but I think I never saw such disturbing nightmarish scenes. Mixing raping acts with hidious animal demons is probably over my tolerance, but clearly shows in the storyline how deep they could go in the darkness of hell.....and beleived me, you really feel being there.
The Legend of Vox Machina (2022)
Surprisingly interesting!
Light, but surprisingly interesting serie.
Nice and stylish art.
Well constructed caracters. Pike and Scanlan are my prefered one.
Cliffhagning story.
Funny part.
Hope they continue the serie for couple of years.
Marvel Anime (2010)
Almost got a bonner
As a man who loves breasts
I am served
The action is also great!!
The rolling art at the ending is definitevely one of the greatest I ever seen :)))
Cheers.
Concussion (2015)
Dark & dusgusting side of the NFL
Great movie that show how the NFL is a money machine of corrupted egoïstic rich managers.
I used to like watching football but now i'm totally disgusted with it and we will never spend a penny to see this sport again.
Valérian & Laureline (2007)
Fun & Exciting Space Adventure!
Beside the fillers, the main story about Laureline and Valerian is very original, captiving and complex. The script and pace are great and time travel paradoxes are pretty cool and well exploited in the serie.
But what I loved the most about this serie is the dialogues between Laureline and Valerian are soooo good and funny (a saw the french version). The actors who done voice have done great job!!
I highly recommend this serie.
Boss Level (2020)
"You want help me look?"
This is a great funny light badass action movie!
Loved the script and idea and mostly Roy's lines.
Frank Grillo do a solid performance...is such an underated actor, I'm glad is the main caracter!

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations: Norainu (2021)
Boss entrance
I played back Narito entrance with Kawaki at least 5 times!! Wow! Very classy and confident...Naruto is really at the top of his game!

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations: Genkai no saki e...!! (2020)
One of the best fight scene!!! :)))
The final fight round with Deepa - and his freaking diamond fist!!- is probably one of the best crescendo victorious fight scene final ever😱
What a great idea to add an american background song to uplift the final figh to its apex!
So glad that the Boruto serie bust my expectations👍🏼
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations: Toki o koete!! (2019)
Boruto and Naruto finally in peace
It's so nice to see after 135 episodes that Boruto finally understand Naruto and have peace with him. Once again the writters added an emotional but legitimate twist to the story.
And what can I say about Jiraiya....was so nice to have him back ...this guy is the best! So funny and "cool".... it was so hilarious to saw Sasuke when Jiraiya mentionned that he was a fan!! Lolll....never saw Sasuke with this face....! In resume it's such a feel good episode... The Boruto franchise step up again!
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations: Chîsana dôkyonin (2019)

Naruto: Shippûden: Aibô (2016)
Itachi's life resumé
All best and important scenes of Itachi's life.
Very well done.
We can really feel the deep caracter Itachi is.
Also a resume of is paradixal relation with a Sasuke pretty angry.
Naruto: Shippûden: Tsukiyo (2016)
Itachi at his best!
Even if it's in an alternate reality...this story seems to exposed what really happen between the Uchiwa and Konoha... finally we get some answers on the contexte of the actions of Itachi.... even if it's in Jiraiya tale, these episodes are really good.
It's better if you look at them after the main story....otherwise you'll crave to see what's going on with Madara and will not appreciate this "tale".
Naruto: Shippûden: Ochikobore ninja (2015)
Interesting alternative story
First, I must say that during my first cut, I voluntarily skipper all the filler episodes, especially those which are the dreams of the characters. I was far too absorbed in the main story to "waste my time" with the fillers.
However, once I had completely finished Naruto Shippuden, I decided to watch these episodes and I think they are enjoyed a lot more, because they have nothing to do with the main story anyway.
As for this episode (432) and the next 25, they take place in Tsunade's dream which is a story that Jiraiya is said to have written in an alternate reality. However, this tale is meant to be an alternate reality of the whole story of Naruto, mainly his rivalry with Sasuke and the fights with Pain and the Akatsuki.
Even though this story doesn't have the depth and quality of the original story, it's really fun and interesting to see how events could have played out with some variation. In short, the writers really had fun writing this alternate reality and it's really very original as a concept! So, if you have skipped these fillers, do not hesitate to review these episodes which are nevertheless very good and even cover extremely important moments in the life of Naruto and Sasuke.....I won't say more, but you shouldn't be disapointed. Good viewing!
Naruto: Shippûden: Otte (2016)
Nice work!
They reinvented the main story with little differences. That's really cool and original!
This episode has lots of really good badass fights! (Love kunai shooting!!)
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations: Yume no otsuge (2017)
Great start!!
Probably the really first best episode from this new franchise and it scored very good! Im hooked....at ep.8! Nice
Naruto: Shippûden (2007)
Fantastic story that will touch your mind and heart
I'm 45 and a huge fan of Japanese anime, but I've always found Naruto to seem like a juvenile anime and for young children. Until I saw the movie Road to Ninja which I thought was great. I then decided to watch the whole series, that is nearly 700 episodes in total. I have finally finished this week and I take a few minutes to underline my appreciation in this review.
For me, Naruto's artwork is not only exceptional for the fact that is has everything: storyline, action, great drawing, music, emotion, blood and Ninjas, but also for the richness and depth of its history and all the emotional moments. Of all the anime that I have watched in my life, none have touched me as much as Naruto. I shed tears several times and admired the values put forward in this series. What I expected from exceptional movies, I found it many times in Naruto.
My action-loving side was also satisfied, because Naruto is far from being an anime for young children. The story is complex and the violence, action, politics, romance and even blood action make it a ninja anime worthy of the name!
In short, I have a heavy heart to have finished the series and I can only recommend it to all fans of Japanese anime and ninja movies and artwork. You'll miss me Naruto, but I see you again in couple of years.
