Restored by the Fords (2016)
This isn't like the other home shows
It isn't overly produced or fake. I think that's what people don't appreciate or like. It just two quirky people from Pennsylvania reimagining old homes and keeping their integrity. Leanne is actually fun to watch and Steve just smiles along and appreciates his sister's style. I remember the episode where she decided to paint the home owners indoor pool all black for a moody contemporary look. Maybe not the best choice, but I like that she is quirky and doesn't follow trends. She still listens to the home owners but doesn't stray too much from her personal style. It's like an art intern getting a TV show, but not pretentious or boring to watch at all. It's just Refreshing real TV.
Pálpito (2022)
Addictive drama!
You will absolutely love this series. There are so many twists and turns you can't look away! It doesn't take its self seriously but delivers on a very real and important topic of human organ trafficking. Ignore the bad reviews. I came back for season 2. And I'm so happy I did! It's got a glamorous cast and telenovela vibe plus a good story and plot twist. If they made this in English I'm not sure I'd watch. There is something about the Spanish series that doesn't treat its audience like idiots, gives enough story, action and sex. The location is stunning and it's a bit Erie to know that this is happening today. Don't listen to me. Watch and come back to give your own review. I can almost guarantee to will find something you like.
Fuller House (2016)
The only thing I can watch with my kids
I am literally amazed by the negative reviews. If you didn't watch or like full house you might still enjoy this, or it might not be for you. That doesn't make it bad. It surpasses the garbage on TV or YouTube today. Unfortunately, the genre of family TV is dead. It is incredibly frustrating to find something to watch on tv that is appropriate or interesting for both myself and my kids. This show serves its purpose and the adult humour keeps me interested ( while not vulgar ). I actually think this is a must show for kids today!!!
