Kenny Powers might be the greatest character ever. You can watch it over and over and you still pick up new jokes. It never gets old I can watch clips on YouTube and still tear up with laughter. Nothing short of a masterpiece...

Pleasant Surprise

It's amazing what a difference a movie can make with good acting. Caine and Plaza are two really likable people. Plaza seems sincere not one of those Barbie actresses that you never believe. Stumble upon this movie in cable and hearing Caine's voice dragged me right in. It must have been good because I couldn't turn it off and a pleasure to see Caine again.

She's just as annoying on screen as off. Mundane slow and made for tv. This one is a hard pass. It's another movie where they try and dress up an aging actress in leather pants so dads will stay interested. As for now Alyssa remains just as irrelevant as the last 15 years or since Charmed..

Gets better every time, if you don't like this movie you really don't have a sense of humor. Anna Ferris is amazing and Ryan Reynolds reverts right back to high school perfectly.

I got through it and the music and premise was cool. That being said what a missed opportunity. This movie could've been Almost Famous good but went Vanilla. They needed a more likable lead and more depth. You needed to fall in love with the character and the music could've been done epically with way more depth with higher highs and lower lows. If Cameron Crowe did this it would've been @ 10.
