How to Make Money Selling Drugs (2012)
So wrong!!!
This film minimizes the risks of drug use and trafficking and attempts to portray drugs as something the government has criminalized solely for racial reasons. Says nothing about addiction, violence, or crime. They are encouraging drug gangs. I'm retired law enforcement and it's depressing that movies like this can be made in America with no thoughts to the repercussions.
Rat Race (2001)
Descent, However.
Some funny scenes and moderate acting, however most of the movie was so impossible that it could only enjoyed by children. It left me thinking "oh please", "come on" for the better part of the movie.
America's Got Talent (2006)
Please change!!!
We don't care what the judges or audience think about the acts until the acts are over. Stop showing their reactions to the acts while they're happening. We only want to see the acts!
Forever Lulu (2000)
Really?
The plot was all over the place! It was as if they filmed a 12 hour movie and just randomly cut scenes to make the movie less than 2 hours.
The Game Changers (2018)
Not terrible, however...
You're telling us that everything we've been told about our diets is a lie. Stop eating meat? If we can't believe them, why should we believe you?
Surviving Christmas with the Relatives (2018)
Well...?
The cast was virtually flawless...The plot? Hard to find one. Who were the main characters? What was the story? When you get to the end of the movie you're left thinking, "So what?"
The Cable Guy (1996)
Well worth your time..
The acting and cinematography in this movie were near perfect and the story is very good. Great movie.
Wonder Boys (2000)
Ok. And?
This movie was supposed to be a comedy? There wasn't a single "funny" scene. The plot had no point. This movie was simply a waste of time in my opinion.
Brain on Fire (2016)
A true story but not entirely true...
As an autoimmune encephalitis sufferer, I can attest that this movie doesn't accurately portray any acts that occur in hospitals when attending to patients suffering from this disease.
The doctors and nurses don't show any compassion and don't seem to be taking any steps to diagnose her. I wish this movie had done a better job showing how awesome our medical industry is at attending to patients with mental diseases. Every minute of this movie made me angry at how poorly the medical professions are displayed. I thank God daily for my continued blessings and pray that no one views the medical industry differently after seeing this.
Cloverfield (2008)
Wow! How in the world?
Was this movie filmed? Constant explosions and destruction everywhere. Almost the entire film with one camera. The effort put into making this film is unimaginable. Was a 7 star review. The movie didn't end. There was no conclusion at all.
Trailer Park Boys (2001)
Too much! Why?
This show can't complete a scene without including a profane word in it. Some scenes include children clearly under 10 violently cursing at one another. It's hard for me to comprehend why parents would allow their children to do this. I think it's pretty indicative of where our society is heading these days.
Small Soldiers (1998)
Surprisingly good
So much better than expected. Acting was virtually flawless and the filmography and sound affects were great. The plot was very good. At times it was difficult to discern if there were "good" guys and "bad" and which was which but it didn't really matter in the end cause the good guys always win right?
The Illusionist (2006)
Awesome!
Almost flawless acting and plot . No complaints. Great movie start to finish.
So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993)
Not great
Mike Myers was virtually flawless as usual, the plot and every else were very mediocre. Could have been so much better. The end was very impractical. She missed his hands ~12 trying to chop his fingers as he hung on the rooftop with two hands and he ended up fighting her on the roof. And winning?
What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993)
Almost very good 🤔😢
The cast virtually flawless, unfortunately the plot was all over the place. Almost like the screenwriters couldn't make up their minds.
Bottle Shock (2008)
Not great...
The acting was decent but the story was convoluted and pointless. It seemed like several scenes were put in to fill time. If you aren't a wine enthusiast, then there's virtually no reason to watch it.
Stranger Than Fiction (2006)
Almost a very good movie
Decent parts and great acting. A complete let down with the ending. The end was very inconclusive. The movie just stopped as if the writer couldn't make up his mind how he wanted it to end.
Freddie Mercury: The King of Queen (2018)
Almost very good
Only problem was Eric Hall, former EMI publicist. Every time he spoke it was almost like he spoke another language. Slurred his speech as if he were drunk. Seems as if they chose who they were interviewing at random
Son of Rambow (2007)
Almost great.
The acting and cinematography were near perfect, however, the plot was somewhat convoluted. The movie practically required the viewing of its predecessor immediately before watching it.
What's with Wheat? (2016)
Ban American Pharma?
Ok America. So stop everything you've been doing for the last 3 decades? They're essentially telling us that nearly everything we've been buying in our grocery stores and everything our doctors have been prescribing has been killing us.
I'm am an autoimmune encephalitis sufferer so they seem to be suggesting I simply stop taking drugs and change my diet and it will miraculously reverse the damage to my brain.
Jobs (2013)
Not what expected
I was expecting a documentary of Steve Jobs based on the image of the movie title. This was instead a dramatic representation of his life. Too bad it wasn't.
Detectorists: Episode #3.1 (2017)
Availablility?
Perhaps this is why season 3 is available on Amazon and not filmrise? Because it was assumed to be non-existent?
Bible's Buried Secrets (2011)
Radio carbon dating
This show states "Grain seeds, lentils like this and olive pits were sent to radio carbon dating." He states that the uncertainty for the ninth century is only between 20 and 30 years. Yet he is talking about David and Solomon's time. I am a college graduated chemist and I can tell you that there is no degree of certainty that the radioactive decay of carbon has been the same for all time. So there is no way that it is known with any degree of certainty that the rate of radioactive decay has always been the same.
