The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023)
A chance to see the antagonist become who he was meant to be
This movie was fairly intriguing, and I enjoyed seeing the different dynamics of Panem only a decade after the war ended. I haven't read the book, so perhaps I would have had better insight into the differences of the movie if I had. Nonetheless, I believe that this movie didn't have quite as much grandeur as the four movies which precede it, partially because Katniss was such a vibrant character who caught all of the audience's attention. However, Coriolanus Snow's development here is outstanding. Seeing how he truly cared for those who were in the Games and wanted to make a change, even encouraging his fellow academy classmates to do the same, was very interesting. But contrasting that heartfelt care was a loyalty to Panem and the capital that could not be broken, even by a love for a girl from District 12 who he mentored and grew close to. He felt betrayed, paranoid, and hurt by what he had to do to survive. He even took the life of his only friend, in a way, by betraying his plans to flee his job as a Peacekeeper. All in all, this movie sets the stage as an adequate prequel for the events that would occur over 6 decades later, as Snow becomes enlightened with the true purpose of the Games at the end of the movie, but it lacks a certain flare that Katniss and co. Bring to the table.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Shattered (2020)
One of the most intense and amazing episodes I've seen
This episode brings it all together. The music, the knowledge of what is about to happen(Order 66), and the suspense makes this one of the most highly anticipated episodes in the series. Maul killing the clone troopers with his force-wielding abilities was mind-blowing. Can't wait for May 4th.
WALL·E (2008)
Best Pixar movie in my opinion
I have been watching this movie since it came out, and I've gotta say that it never gets old. It never fails to keep me watching until the end of the movie. I've played video games and gotten products related to this movie, so that just goes to show how the people at Pixar make movies like this that intrigue thousands of people.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
A glorious movie to end a glorious series
This movie was mind blowing. I was expecting something great, but this was even better. All parts of this movie were made so perfectly it awed me. This movie is a must see whether you are a Marvel fan or not
Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018)
Pretty decent Disney movie
This movie was honestly a great sequel to the first movie. It had a decent plot line, and I loved the part with the princesses, that really cracked me up in the theater. This movie was great overall. The only thing I didn't like is that Vanelope totally abandons her game halfway through. I thought the whole point of the movie was to save her game from being taken away. But other than that, great movie. Good job Disney
