Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
Loved this movie
James Cameron did it!! I see why he had to wait 10 years to make this movie and it certainly did not disappoint! Cameron managed to make me feel nostalgic about a place that I haven't seen and miss people (avatars) that don't exist. The effects are so good that you find it hard to distinguish it from reality. Although the big time gap, the movie was still in the same style as before, the story was straightforward and interesting and didn't bore me for a minute despite the 3 hour duration of the movie. There were no empty scenes, the message of the movie is clear and makes us think about things we experience in our world, too.
There were a few gaps in the plot but I can't even be mad about it.
And Neteyam, poor baby, they made us love him all for nothing :(
I can't wait for the third part because there is so much potential in the series. And I certainly cannot wait for other tribes to be introduced!!
Blonde (2022)
Disaster
The only and I repeat only one good thing about this movie was Ana's acting - she had really embodied Marylin Monroe's persona from the looks to the manners and body movements, but that's it. I understand the director's idea of this movie - the disastrous side of Hollywood and fame at all, but this is far from the whole that Monroe is. They put absolutely fake and way too dramatic events that hadn't happened- the whole movie was one big and really slowly moving soap drama! The person they presented was a lunatic woman who always cried, which isn't the whole truth! They missed all the activism Monroe did, all the movements and the inspiration she was for women in that time. And what even was that with the president??- there was so much story to put there and they just showed her as his personal w*ore?! Is that why she was killed, because she s***ed some d**k? Absolutely tasteless drama that was way too modernised into this extremely long monotone movie. They shouldn't have done it at all, because if Marylin could see this, she would be turning in her grave for the pathetic crazy woman they tried to portrait her.
Monster (2022)
Incredible show
This show has genouisly captured the terror of those times. The way the director has played with the timelines to capture every little detail of Dahmer's acts is marvelous. The acting was godly - both from Evan Peters and from all those incredible actors who managed to merge with the role and show the actual horror all those families have been through. The other incredible thing is that these series aren't only for showing Dahmer's side from the story, but the society's views, too - the unprofessional work of the police and the major discrimination, homophobia and the racism all those victims and their families had to endure, the disbelief that this has happened and the many times he has slipped away only because he is white. This managed to enrage all the viweres, and this is an indication that the series and the actors have played pretty well. Also, the similarity of both the actors, and the apartment are so lookalike, that it's pretty chilling. As a true crime fan, I expected this show to be pretty badly made since all such productions for real life events are, but I was left utterly surprised at how good in every aspect it was. Marvelous work of both directors and actors!

A really intriguing and exciting thriller
Once again I'm very impressed by Korean producers and actors. The plot was amazing and didn't let me rest even for a minute. The story is touching and the acting is very good. I didn't cry this much at the end as I cried when the dog was killed. That was not fun :).

Intense
We smoked all our cigarettes and bit our nails to blood, watching this movie. It is so intense that I didn't relax even 10 seconds. The plot was really intense, the acting was amazing and the shooting was just incredible. I don't know why it has such a bad review tho.

The most mind-bending movie
This is one of rare movies that deserves the fullest points. Through the whole movie, the plot takes about 30 turns and draws one perfect circle with no end and beginning. At the end you just stay speechless and very uncomfortable. The movie that made me make an account here and actually write a review. 10/10 must see!
