The Flash: Timeless (2021)
A Very Strange Episode
The cinematography was great, as were VFX in the Forces' birth scene. That one moment from 7x03 was explained with Wells looking somewhere which looked like bad directing at the moment (considering how atrocius that episode was). Barry, Iris (in the nightmare scene), Deon and Psych were pretty good too. The things that bother me are
1) that Iris is responsible for recreating the Speed Force. Maybe, if it was explained and executed better, I would even like it. It still bothers me from 7x03 to this day how rushed the moment with Iris was. Honestly, I don't know what can be done for me to like anything connected to Iris after her past quotes and actions (We are the Flash, all the "cool mom stuff" from S5, the "Speed force is human UWU", all the surveillance and science stuff when she's not a computer guru nor a scientist)
Just look at Lois Lane from S&L who does her JOB AS A JOURNALIST WHO TRIES TO HELP PEOPLE AND ACCEPTS HER FLAWS. And not acts like a superhero when she's really not.
2) the idea of destroying the Forces was good, though it would feel cheap for Team Flash to solve the problem like this. Now, it seems like Barry will fight the "forces of nature" with love or whatever. Can't wait for Psych and Nora to be beaten with the ol' classic "being bad is bad" which goes back to when dinosaurs walked the Earth.
The Flash: Fear Me (2021)
This was actually good
Aside from Iris "having a gut feeling" about Comission member when the police captain doesn't (which is really dumb if you ask me) and Barry crying over a villain who he couldn't beat (it is his main character trait now, huh?), it was a decent episode.
Psych has a really cool, almost frightening, concept. ForceQuest still looks interesting, as in 2 previous episodes. My main issue, if you can even call it that way, with this episode is that with such "masterpieces" like 6x19, 7x03 and 7x04 it's an exception, not a rule, to have a really good episode.
The Flash: Central City Strong (2021)
Welcome back to an episode of "Iris and some speedster with a maxed out speech"
Gosh, this show just becomes unbearable. Even without the Iris parts this episode is really dumb. Barry literally whines for the last 8(?) episodes.
"I've been tricked by a magician from 64th century, uwu. What? An antimatter bomb is about to destroy the whole city? Get the hell out of here with that and let me cry" is how I can summarize his character in this episode, hell, in most episodes of 6B and, particularly, 7x03. Do I need to remind you that pre - Eric Wallace Barry didn't break emotionally (well, almost) back in 4x15 when a real nuke has gone off and he tried to solve this situation WITHOUT MOTIVATIONAL PEP TALKS AND FORCED DRAMA.
And don't even get me started about "peptalking the villain out of doing evil stuff" thing. Can you imagine Barry beating Thawne, Zoom or Savitar alongside any villain of the week from S1 - S4 just by talking that being bad is bad? How has Barry turned from a powerful speedster into a psychiatrist? I don't the answer, ask the writers.
It's a shame that this show has turned into a full drama show rather than a superhero one, because some storylines look promising like Force Quest or Godspeed arcs. But let me tell you that I will be surprised if Barry won't beat by telling Godspeed that "creating clones and using Velocity to kill people is bad, pls stop, dude".
Overall, a really mediocre episode that, surprisingly, isn't a filler. I was really excited about the villain of 7A, but we all know he will be talked to by Team Flash, they will hold hands and live happily ever after
