Milli Vanilli (2023)
They would be TikTok famous today!
This was well done and heartbreaking. This is a true example of 2 different paths you can take when bad things happen in life. One path has suffering and one path thrives. One can't bounce back, maybe hates himself and one reinvents himself. The choice is always ours. I was a young woman when they came on the scene and I bought their tape and played it out. I still love the music and back then I was just sad when I found out because I knew they wouldn't be making anymore awesome music. I am glad to see that Fab has thrived and concurred his demons. They didn't deserve the hate they went through. I really hope this helps people to see to relax on people. There is always a scapegoat and there's always someone pulling strings that deserves the actual outrage that usually comes to the wrong party. Be kind to one another. Peace out and enjoy the amazing music!
Phoenix Rising (2022)
Intriguing documentary
Hopefully Evan and the other victims of this man will get justice and he will be stopped. Really sorry to see this kind of thing happening chronically in the industry. This reminded me so much of R Kelly and his victims. Pure evil and I hope Manson goes to jail. Glad to see Evan getting support and I hope she can find healing and definitely hope she prevails in the lawsuit he has brought against her.
Only Murders in the Building (2021)
Reminds me of the old radio mysteries from the 80s
I really loved this show. The feel of the show took me back to growing up in the 80s, listening to radio whodunnits. Fun, quirky, silly, playful, not always pc, beautiful music that was arranged perfectly. The writing, the sets, the acting, the story, the journey, were all well done and I was happy to see Steve Martin again in this great show. People seem to love it or hate it and I was one that loved it for so many reasons. It didn't take itself too seriously and that's what I prefer to spend my time watching.
