Freerunner (2011)
no tom cruise :(
This movie was very misleading, sean farris is just pretending to be tom cruise, also this movie gave me nightmares when i was twelve- ryan doyle is overrated
The Problem with Apu (2017)
stupid arguments
As a long time fan of the simpsons this "documentary" just made me angry. the arguments were weak and full of holes and the whole point of the film is that it's stereotyped. if you think apu represents indians badly imagine how americans feel with homer representing them. as a christian i found it funny how overly stereotyped ned flanders was and there is so much depth to apu's character. please stop giving this idea that you can't make fun of anything
Captain Marvel (2019)
watch Alita battle angel instead.
I'm not a bot, I'm not intimidated by female characters, I'm a Marvel fan who is disappointed by the way they projected a great character in the comics into a flat mary sue who's only power is being a woman. this movie mostly seemed boring and like a copy of many other marvel movies with a boring character. they seemed to focus more on a political agenda than making a good movie and the actor really didn't help in getting fans excited to see the movie. I really enjoyed wonder woman and would have much preferred a scarlet witch or black widow movie. it seemed kind of disrespectful to the long time fans who watched the previous characters struggle and get stronger and now captain feminism just comes in and will solve all their problems. i really hope marvel doesn't go in the direction star wars has. the movie is fine to watch for some mindless action but it doesn't do the other marvel movies justice. Alita has an actual strong female character and is a much better movie.
Ghostbusters (2016)
a wasted opportunity
This film could have been so good but they ruined it and the chance for a good reboot with horrible comedy, horrible storytelling and sexism/racism towards men and white people. it basically feels like a parody insulting the originals. literally the only part that made me laugh was when the chris hemsworth character said " an aquarium is a submarine for fish" which is not even funny i just kind of laughed ironically. the visuals and effects were great and it made me sad because with an actual good script and cast that was respectful to the originals and audience this could have been such a good movie or trilogy. but no political statements and 5 year old comedy has to ruin it
Vader: A Star Wars Theory Fan Series (2018)
it felt like star wars.
This film had a very low budget and short runtime and yet it managed to make me feel emotionally connected to the world and characters. amazing cgi and storytelling and great acting and editing. this felt like true star wars and is something the fans have been in need of. very excited for ep 2. swt made a great film because it had great story, characters and respected the fans without adding all this political garbage.
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
disrespectful to the fans/characters
While at first i enjoyed the movie and it had some very good scenes, the characters were completely disrespected. the much loved Luke skywalker was portrayed as a depressed old man with barely any powers and who gave up on everything. this completely took everything people loved about luke and the jedi and tossed it in the bin. people hoped that we would find out snokes back story in this movie, how he became so powerful and who he really is, there were many fan theories that actually sounded good but no, they just made snoke some guy in a golden bathrobe who gets killed before we know anything about him. admiral ackbar was killed without even a mention which just broke my heart. captain phasma who was said to be a great character was wasted again with a short scene and nothing else but a comic book, the deleted scene of her final fight would have made it a little bit better. i personally was not happy with leia's role in the movie and i hated admiral holdo and how she didn't tell anyone her plan just so fin and rose could waste our time on a pointless political SJW scene. that does not belong in a star wars movie. rose didnt need to be a character, and it was really stupid how she stopped fin from saving the resistance. kylo ren was cool before but is now just a cry baby. it really annoyed me that we saw more of rose crying for her sister who we were just introduced it that of well known and loved luke skywalker crying over the death of han solo. luke should have shown more of his force powers and been the same luke we knew from the OT. i enjoyed most of the battle on crait and snokes throne room scene(appart from him dying) but the rest of it seemed like a disrespectful parody of star wars. i also did not appriciate the hate towards the fans from lucasfilm and how people were labelled as racist or sexist just because they didnt like the movie.some of it didnt make sense and luke should not have died. i like star wars and i enjoyed this the first time i watched it but it just disrespects everything about star wars. i also hate the kathleen kennedy the force is female thing, star wars is for everyone and is not the place to show your extreme political sjw views.
