Ghosts (1996)
Fantastic Short Film
The effects, makeup, and everything is so amazing. The part where he crumbled into the ground made me sad because he's already gone, and it was like losing him again. I like this because yes, it is quite showy, but the whole message is that even people who look "weird" aren't always monsters. Michael loved to do short films, and I thought that this was great. The plot isn't as developed as it could be, but sometimes you watch things for entertainment, and it doesn't necessarily need to make sense. Three things I learned:
Hello??
Was that scary?
HOOOOOOO!!!!!
Living with Michael Jackson: A Tonight Special (2003)
Terrible Martin Bashir
Martin Bashir took total advantage of Michael Jackson. He told him that this would be an interview that would give him a positive light but yet actually makes him look like a terrible person? He shows Jackson's kids without the approval, constantly tries to ask the man about plastic surgery and the allegations, and has the audacity to even further ask about details that Michael obviously doesn't want to disclose and has strong emotion about. He continues to ask some of the same questions throughout even though answered, and says that a place like Neverland is not safe for vulnerable children but also praises it. This man cares about the money and doesn't care about the interviewee's feelings. (like with Princess Diana) I truly hope one day Martin Bashir realizes what he has done and tries to make things right.
