The Witcher: Much More (2019)
Oh whoops
So I just spent a good amount of time writing a review for the previous episode thinking I still had one more. And NOPE I was on the finale. MY GOODNESS. Just no. But hey cool reunion finally. Could've done it in a lot less episodes with a lot less fluff. Thanks for the mediocre show- prob won't watch 2nd season. BAI!
The Witcher: Before a Fall (2019)
Oh valley of plenty terrible
Yep. Reluctantly proceeding with this show and if one more person says "it gets better" I'm gonna hit you in the head with a flip flop. It is not getting better. It is staying consistently terrible. If you think this show is "clever" or "satisfying" you have poor taste. I mean yea Superman is a babe but I'm not going to base my opinion of this show as an entirety off of just him looking like a blonde qt 3.14.
And OL' lock jaw doesn't know what the heck she's doing with herself and it's probably because the plot itself is once again, the worst. Also still a lot of what the show is portraying as "deep" moments, like when homeboy is fighting the "super villain" and gets Sparta kicked off the side of the small hill, are actually not deep at all. Poor fella taking a lil roll. Still DONT CARE. I don't even know your name, bro. So anticlimactic. This whole thing was rushed with too much fluff. Almost on the season finale and it got a 9.1. All I'm saying is It better get WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better because right now the show as a whole is MAYBE batting a .500 in my book. I'm sorry I just want to be challenged mentally when watching a show- I want to be surprised, and caught off guard. I want to be mesmerized and so into the viewing itself that I can't look away. And it's not happening for me here.
The Witcher: Betrayer Moon (2019)
Ima sWitcher the channel
I have struggled to get through the first 3 episodes, and overall I am highly unimpressed. I just think in general it's poor. A lot of unnecessary parts and too many deep things are happening too soon. Like I'm not attached enough to these characters to care about all the drama. Queens hubs died in the battle? Aw dang that's sad but idc. Quazzie got a make over? Man, look like that hurt but good for her. Still don't care though. And what is with that dance floor? It looks all shiny and futuristic and it's out of place and made me uncomfortable. My goodness I may not even make it through the show. How on earth does one actually see this as "good"? There is no depth in this show. It's a puddle. A freaking puddle. Sheeeeesssshhhhh just do better. And clearly I know I'm the minority here but I was so frustrated watching this I had to vent a little. To those who care- I'll give more feedback as I proceed.. if I do.
New Girl: Prince (2014)

Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
Riveting.
I'm not really sure how to put it into words other than saying I was cinematically moved multiple times in the episode. An overwhelming sense of emotion came over me that had me tearing up a couple of times uncontrollably- Ex. When The Red Woman lit the Dothraki's weapons before the battle. The fire wave, and the build up to the full illumination hit me deep; it was so well written. Hopeful.
It was followed by opposite emotion of pure fear of the unknown when the Dothraki line come to a halt, and then went from a steady hush to a wave of the undead swarming towards them was absolutely spine-chilling. Multiple emotions felt almost simultaneously; it had me locked in.
Wonderful work, and although the deaths seemed a little underwhelming (no really big characters died), I thought they did a great job of making those that did die, they died in a BIG way.
To finish it off, Bran and the Red Woman knew what was going to happen the whole time and without Theon protecting bait Bran, Arya wouldn't have had time to figure out what she had to do (Thank you Red Woman).
I don't think that GOT is done with the killings though. I believe that the show still has some intense things coming our way and no character is ever safe. Bitter sweet ending coming our way.
I'm not saying I agree with every move that was made- I think it would have been more heart-jerking if some of the main characters died honorably. BUT I was captivated the whole time, I had NO idea what was going to happen, and there were so many well executed scenes. Overall very satisfied and mind-blown. I believe one of the best if not THE best battle in film/television.
