Fingerprints (2006)
Thumbs up!
9 March 2008
Warning: Spoilers
I was able to catch a screening Fingerprints at Texas Frightmare Weekend and I give this movie a big thumbs up! It was nice to see an original horror movie that is NOT A REMAKE! Based on the urban legend surrounding haunted train tracks in Texas, Fingerprints was an awesome supernatural thriller with elements of slasher movies that I found to be a good mix of ghosts and gore. The lead actress in this film was extremely engaging and her acting was top notch.

At one point I thought I knew where the movie was going, but I was pleasantly surprised by the good old fashioned twist at the end. I would recommend Fingerprints to anyone who is looking for a fun, horror/thriller.

Welcome to the Jungle (2007 Video)
Total rip-off of "Cannibal Holocaust" avoid at all costs
24 December 2007
You know I have seen a ton of poorly executed rip-offs made in my time and I don't normally leave comments but "Cannibal Holocaust" is such a great, terrifying piece of cinema, and "Welcome to the Jungle"(also the European name for the Rundown with the Rock) is such a colossal disaster, something has to be said! I am shocked that this film would even warrant distribution from a respectable horror label like Dimension. I am not going to give away spoilers I am just going to say stay away from this movie and if this topic interests you then please check out "Cannibal Holocaust." "Cannibal Holocaust" is so realistic that even the Italian government thought the filmmakers really killed people and had them arrested until it was proved otherwise. That is great film-making!

Creepy Kids
14 May 2007
I am giving this movie a 7 out of ten compared to the other movies in the after dark horror fest line-up.

I saw this as a double feature with The Gravedancers, which is terrible, so I was happy and surprised that this movie is actually creepy, why? Creepy kids! This movie is full of some clichés and does start off slow but the end makes up for the boring first half and I couldn't get enough of the creepy kids. They were great and had a really great look that didn't reek of low budget horror.

Is this the best horror fest movie? No, but it certainly can stand on its own and I would recommend it to people who are looking forward a creepy children zombie movie.
