Shutter Island (2010)

What would be worse to live as a monster or to die as a good man?

Shutter Island is remarkable film, having watched it twice I can say that it manages to create enough suspence even for second watch.although it is a bit slow but the ending is worth it. The cinematography is hauntingly beautyful, the sets and whole atmosphere is dark and gloomy,Leonardo DiCaprio gives a stellar performance and Martin scorcese direction succeed in this suspenful film.

When I first watched this movie I was convinced that the aylum authorities were trying to make Leonardo DiCaprio character insane so that he can never leave the island after 1 year I watched it again and now it all falls into place.this one doesn't try to confuse you through direction like Nolan's memento rather it manages to create suspence by story and investment in characters.acting of Leonardo is so good that you are convinced that asylum authorities are trying to trap him although it was highly unlikely but still it does ,that's is the brilliance of scorcese and Leonardo.

Dexter: New Blood (2021–2022)

Dexter has become less dexterious

Dexter returns after 7 years,just when you thought the ending of season 8 couldn't go more wrong , writer have a surprise waiting for you.although this mini series was worth watching but Dexter character has been butchered by writers just like he butcher his victims ,he has become sloopy and has lost a couple of brain cells but nevertheless he is still dexter.till 10 th episode last 30 minutes this was a good watch but after that it took an abrupt turn ,although previous episodes had their flaws but here they commited grave error and changed whole show.this could have been a great conclusion(Dexter face off with Batista,Dexter trail before jury ,Dexter running away from police)but it was rushed.no definite closure was provided.i wish this wasn't made but some part of me feel happy to see Dexter once again.

Baby Driver (2017)

This baby sure can drive

Baby driver is fun action movie filled with most exhilarating car chase sequences in film history.although it has a sad ending but overall it is quite a fun watch.movie starts with baby listening to music while waiting for his companions who are robbing a bank this sets preety much the tone of the movie what follows is action filled thrilling ride where baby is the driver.

Jai Bhim (2021)

Great film but far from prefect

Jai bhim surya next venture after soorai potru is great flick in all aspects although they are some negatives like for ex the pacing of the film at start or overdramatic effects but overall it completely engrosses you.while soorai potru was movitivating tale this one was a sob story.

The things to like about this film is the cast which performs suberbly, Suriya outdid himself in this one, his eyes tells so many tales. Director manages to transform a documentary to a commercial movie. I also felt in some moments that it was trying to gloryfy commuinsm but still it can be pardoned. Although being nearly three hour long and a tad bit preditible this film still held my attention,it manages to show pain and agony of what these tribal went through quite painstakingly.

Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019)

HANDS DOWN!! BEST WAR MOVIE EVER MADE

Not just one of the best but the best war movie ever made and comes par with hollywood classics like saving private ryan.Uri is 138 minutes of a thrilling ride which shows the life on an army officer like never seen before excluding lakshaya.Aditya dhar surprised me as uri despite his first movie is pure masterpiece,man we found another good director.The action was so real and thrilling to watch.nothing was unneccesary added in this movie and they must be appreciated for not involving romantic angle.The bullets sound was pleasant to hear.i got goosebumps when Siraat provide air support to commandos the bgm was so good in that scene although this scene resembles saving private ryan end when air support arrives and captain miller quotes "angels on our shoulder".This movie motivated me to join armed forces and i believe that one day i can be commanding men like major vihaan shergil. HOW THE JOSH?? high sirr.............
