The Good Doctor: Newbies (2020)
Not AS bad if you pay attention from beginning to end!
I'm glad I paid attention from start to finish. Definitely a whirlwind of different situations but the remaining resident applicant that were chosen, I liked as well. I'm starting to get a bit irked with Morgan, but her not being able to adjust to her new position has brought her back to her old ways when she first came on. I hope it changes and she settles in but if she's like this the entire season, it'll be hard to handle for me. As for the whole issue with the mansplaining, the first part didn't sit well with me. I think they could have still done it but approach it differently... to me, that part came across as a misunderstanding and both Morgan and Brown reacted out of frustration at each other. As for the second time, I understood it a lot more. But it's weird how the residents argued eagerness as a good skill moving forward for the resident applicants that made it, but it's mansplaining for him. Again though, I understood how it all played out. As for everything else, Murphy and Park to me are a great pair. I'm a little worried with Murphy and Lea's relationship, as in I see Shaun getting played later. Acting from everyone was amazing, and that keeps me watching more despite the 50/50 storyline!
Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Captain Kim (2020)
Can finally start the new season after watching the others so many times
Man, I've been waiting for an episode like this for awhile. While season 6 was great, it seemed too political for me for a comedy show. This episode hits back as to why the show is so popular; the comedic relief was consistent throughout the show. Boyle and Holt had me laughing the whole time, and I'm glad the jokes are back!
Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Hitchcock & Scully (2019)
Probably one of my favorite episodes
I loved this episode every part... the feud between Captain Holt and Commissioner John Kelly, the tight space war between the 99th precinct and the nypd, and more screen time for Hitchcock and Scully. Even though the jokes were a bit cheesy, the way they were delivered had me laughing the whole time! I lobby for more screen time for Hitchcock and Scully!
