Depp V Heard (2023)
Watch The Yrial
What on earth is the point of this documentary? Every day of the trial is still online from Court TV and Law & Crime network. There's no side commentary, just the trial. That is the best way to learn what happened and why the jury found as they did. Twitter doesn't matter. TikTok doesn't matter. Instagram doesn't matter. Facebook doesn't matter. What matters is what happened in the courtroom. I never base any opinion on a trial on the online chatter because, let's face it, there's a whole lot of crazy online. One thing I do get angry about is that somehow seven jurors decided to throw their oath out the window and base their decision on online junk. That's just insulting. By that standard no high profile case can be decided honestly and based on the evidence. So wrong.
Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father (2022)
Perfect
When Harrison says, "Open your eyes and see what you've done" then flashing images of Deb, Rita, LaGuerta, and Doakes. Perfect. Dexter finally sees that he, like all of his victims, fits the code. I think a lot of people didn't want Dexter to die including me but it really was the only right ending.

The Starling (2021)
Wonderful!
A lovely story with wonderful acting by Melissa, Chris, and Kevin. The starling was the star of course.
Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman (2021)
Just Sad
Whoever wrote this had zero knowledge of the crimes. Terrible.
Thunder Force (2021)
Fabulous!
I don't know what movie these other people watched but I absolutely love it! Stellar writing. Stellar cast. Melissa and Octavia at their best. Excellent!
Harold and Maude (1971)
Who Knew Death Could Be So Much Fun?
I loved everything about this film. It's macabre, hysterical, and just plain lovely. Ruth Gordon brought all of her many gifts to the film. We miss her brilliance terribly. Bud Cort brings a playfulness and whimsy to Harold's darkness that is irresistible. Who knew that fake suicides and funerals could make living so much fun?
The Kitchen (2019)
It thought it was a solid movie.
I didn't realize it was based on some comic book crap or I might not have watched it even with Melissa. I hate comic book movies. They're completely overdone and absurd. I thought this was a good solid movie with a great cast. It kept me engrossed throughout. I loved the idea of three strong female gangsters. I also love that they had all the family stuff that women have to deal with and men don't. I think a lot of the people who don't like it are reacting to the female leads. They want men in these roles. I do wish it had been written as a real story and not a comic book. That would have been better.
