Loon (2017)
Good til End
While I don't agree with the other reviewer as far as the script, I do agree with the ending. Totally jumped the shark.
I found the story and acting to be actually good. Without giving away any spoilers, there was an interesting twist towards the end. The actor who portrayed neighbor Chucky was downright creepy and good casting. Oh, but the climax and ending had me thinking" what were the writers thinking???". Absurd.

What The Hell Happened
I have to agree with a previous reviewer. At the end, I'm thinking what was this? The story started slow but building up on the creep level. James Remar brings up the creep level even more. But I'm trying to connect the title with the storyline. Who's the Blackcoat?
To sum it up: the ending left me hungry.
Bajo la piel de lobo (2017)
Powerful and Disturbing
I recently saw this and I am still unsettled about the ending. He did not deserve that. Sure he was a brute but he saved her life. Love in his own way. The beauty in the film was how adept he was with his world on the mountain. When he realized he was being poisoned, why didn't he go to the village and confront the family. Or a doctor? Why did he give up?
