I don't know why I didn't watch this sooner. Such an amazing movie. I laugh and laughed and laughed. Very unpredictable and great acting. Will definitely watch again.

Absolutely garbage.

Pointless and boring. I wanted to wait it out, but I decided to end it before I was disappointed even more. Plot was super confusing, very unrealistic and way too much unnecessary violence for me.

Next please...

Just what you need

Ahh. Comedy. Great acting. Realistic story lines for each couple. What more could you want? It's been a while since I sat down and laughed during a comedy. This was everything I needed. I don't know how I didn't find this movie before since it is 2021 and this was made in 2009, but it is still so great. Definitely watching again! So many big names as well. Hollywood did good!

Love doesn't always need to win..
23 May 2021
I know I may be the only one, but I know what it's like to be 17. In the 2000's, where we are preached that true love never fails. Well, I agree with Hugh. For pretty much the entire movie. If they loved eachother, she should have done her internship and followed her dreams. If he truely loved her, he would have let her go. There's nothing to stop them giving it red hot crack when they aren't 17 and have their futures ahead of them. I remember being 17 and having a boyfriend. I would have given up my future in a heart beat for him.

I'm now 23 and am so glad I chose my future. He's a jerk now and I still have my future in front of me.

The person he is now is not something I want to be apart of and that's because people change. 17 is a very confusing age. You are so close to being an adult and making your own decisions. There is plenty more fish in the sea. Don't waste your younger years on summer flings. Invest in your future and you will thank yourself later for it.

Maybe it is because I'm not 17 anymore or just that I have seen more "love wins" movies than I can count, but if Jade and David were real people, I can almost guarantee you, they would not be together today. Which is okay. Because maybe, just maybe, love doesn't always win.

Wow, amazing!
4 May 2021
I was surprised I had never heard of this story but I am so glad I took the time to learn. It was nothing short of amazing. It is definitely going on my favourites list. The end outcome doesn't surprise me. I hope the remaining victims are able to find peace, wherever they are and whoever they are. I also really respected the fact that there true identities and names were not disclosed. Just because the victims are choosing not to disclose their identities, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Trauma is a crippling pain that never leaves. They will never be the same again but they still deserve to live a good life. I hope they find it.

I have never felt so many emotions before..

Wow. I watched this movie for the first time almost 2 years ago. It struck a cord with me, not really knowing much background before I started it. What a horrific situation to be in. It was very intense, and you were on the edge of your seat the entire time. I don't know why they don't make movies like this anymore. We have evolved but I will continue to what this for years to come.. one of the best.

If only they made it 1.5 hours not 3 hours..

I am about half way through and I can't bring my self to finish it. I can almost imagine what happens in the end. I will say, I was shocked to find out it was made In 2005 because the graphics quality is amazing. I am not normally Into Sci-Fi movies but there are a few that make the cut. Unfortunately, this one just didn't do it for me. Acting was great. Love Jack black and Kyle chandler. Was a little too long for me as well.

Touching story but it's the 21st century. Let's not get out of hand here.

Warning: Spoilers
I do love a good western. I can find it hard sometimes to connect to it. Maybe it's because I don't live in the country. But the thing is, I don't live in the big city either. I am somewhere in between. To give you some context, Aussie born and bred. The camera work was incredible. Very well done. The main issue I have is the story line. It's way too easy. My 17 year old cousin could have written that story line out for her media project in high school. I don't want to spoil it, but the guy who passed away- very predictable. Based on the life style he was living, yes- not surprised. But that's it. That's the point of that relationship. The whole "being a cowboy gives me a family" thing is so mediocre. Especially for a teenage boy who clearly has no problem making drug deals and living that gangsta lifestyle. So my question is, is that certain individual didn't die, would he still choose to be a cowboy? My answer is no. He wouldn't. Cause being a cowboy wasn't his first choice anyway. He would have still preferred to be in a gang. Just to be fair, I am not at all associating that with the fact that he is black ect. Race has nothing to do with it at all. But African American kids (especially boys) tend to associate themselves with gangs, and ironically, that can have a lot to due with broken family relationships and their desire to feel accepted as they are maturing to adulthood.

I really disliked the ending. There wasn't much dialogue so it was hard to really understand what was happening. There was no closure. It was very narrow minded. The father was actually rude and got on my nerves. He technically choose his cowboy lifestyle over his son and than expected his son to give up his own lifestyle for him? Sorry buddy, life doesn't work like that.

Even if the sons lifestyle wasn't that great to begin with. I live in 2021 as of right now and I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be surprised if cowboys weren't even talked about in 5-10 years time. Times are changing and before you can blink, we will be driving flying cars, air travel will take minutes and we won't need to work because they will have robots to do that.

Cowboys are in the past, even if there are still some around today. I mean no disrespect to the makers or the real actors of this film as they are actually part of a legitimate cowboy group in Philly. But you either confirm and evolve or you get left behind. That's just the way the world works. I will take the future over the past any day of the week. Sorry not sorry. :)

One of my favourites

I remember watching with with my mum when I was about 9 years old in Canada. I am now 21 relocated in Queensland Australia. This is truly a classic. True Aussie drama, with great acting and entertaining storyline's. Clean message and episodes. Nothing over complicated and too hard to understand. It's sucks it had to end but I am so glad you can still find this series on over streaming platforms. One of the best!

How odd.
15 February 2021
I love crime. I love thrillers. I love R rated movies. Im in my twenties. Im sure I am not alone. BUT- this movie was so drawn out and pretty much achieved nothing. I totally don't get the point of this and want to save anyone else's time cause I will never get back those hours. I didn't even get to see the end.

I can understand the concept but too bad it's so boring and drawn out your guaranteed to fall asleep while watching it. Like seriously. I was interested in the first half of the movie but no way I'm finishing it now.

One of the reasons you don't do drugs.

Very odd film. I felt bad for the girl though cause he is obviously very lost and insecure. Good acting and it got me to the end so props for that. Not to say I will watch it again anytime soon but very interesting perspective. Stay in school kids and don't do drugs.

Don't waste your time.
7 December 2020
Thanks to corona, I have come across this piece of crap. Let's just say, just cause you can pay a "well known" actor/ actress to play a certain role, does not guarantee the story line to be decent. I have no idea what the heck they were thinking. I waited until half way through the movie and gave up. Nothing but a grown ass man who acts like a 2 year old when he goes through a break up. He kinda gives me Phyco stalker vibes as well. Sorry, great actors but you missed the other part of the recipe!

I wasn't sure but wow... I feel different than before.
8 October 2020
I have decided to try a new thing for the last few months of 2020. Watch new movies only. I came across this one. I love how well it's made, story writing is impeccable and acting is superb. Really well known actors, no drama that isn't unnecessary. At the end of the day, it's about what makes you happy and who makes you happy. Regardless of how much crap you have to go through. I don't normally say this, but this is definitely a favourite of mine. I will be watching it for years to come. Sooo good.

It doesn't have to be that confusing..
23 September 2020
The first one was simple and interesting. The appeal was there but now they are an item- all the curiosity is gone. We get it. They have a heated romantic agreement. But he is borderline abusive and controlling at times which can be uncomfortable to watch. No boyfriend gets to tell you who your allowed to see or not. Or even go places without him. Your not his property for him to own and tell you what to do all the time. If any woman has common sense, they wouldn't go for a man like Christian. Pain is not love. You don't abuse someone and call it love. Where do we draw the line between a "intense relationship like Greys" and domestic violence? How are we able to teach our daughters the difference. I honestly don't see one. Cause at the end of the day- it's all about power and control.

Predicting but not terrible.
6 September 2020
It was cliche and predictable but not completely terrible. Acting was half decent compared to some other movies like this but I still don't think I will go out of my way to see it again. If you want to waste some time, I recommend it. But if you want decent acting with unpredictable story lines, go watch something else.

Are you serious? What a joke.
6 September 2020
If nothing happened, why wouldn't you tell your husband? The ending is such super drawn out and isn't realistic at all. There is such a thing as retraining orders as well. Why didn't she use one? She's a flipping lawyer for god sake! No emotional connection with Courtney, Brittany or even Marcus. If a friend is warning you about the guy you are seeing, why wouldn't you listen to her? Even if you haven't been seeing that guy for long. So many grey areas. I don't understand. It isn't rated very high. I don't hate this movie, but it isn't on my list of favourites.

Better than I thought.
2 September 2020
Given that this was made over 11 years ago, it's honestly not bad. The ending was predictable and cheesy. The soundtrack was done well in the key parts of the movie but they botched it in the ending i had to fast forward to the very end. Got sick of the "intense" audio just to add more suspense to it. The crazy part is there are actually obsessive crazy people like this in the real world which makes this movie very realistic. Sad but realistic. It teaches you to be careful what you say.

Hannibal (2013–2015)

Got boring well quick. Such a shame! Go back to acting school please!!
25 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The first few episodes were so well done. But the whole "Will is losing his mind" scenario got old real quick. If he is losing his mind, he should quit. His boss should be kind enough to let him go. Blaming him for being unstable is ridiculous, the stuff that he has seen are tragic. I didn't like Hannibals character and it's so predictable that Will and the others would have NO clue that it was Hannibal all along. Like what? Your with the flipping FBI. Think about it - in a real life "2020" scenario, he would NOT be allowed to still be working. He would be on workers compensation or a certain type of leave due to medical issues. Do not even get me going about the story line! when the Doctor was killed and the only other person within the deal & room was Hannibal. It's not rocket science! So sad honestly, it had so much potential. I don't think it's THAT hard to make a good show, with a moderate amount of drama and good developed characters. Like really? Or is it? Tv shows are going down hill in the last few years. I still have favourites of mine made back in the early 2000s that I could watch every few years for the rest of my life. These newbies need to go back to acting school. Let the pros take over from here! Before I get people looking at this and think I'm older, and I'm not young enough to enjoy / understand this type of series, I'm 22 and happen to be studying a Bachelor of Criminology. So take it from someone who's actually going into the field!

Putting a few jump scares into a movie dosent make it horror.
17 August 2020
I'm not a person who watches horror every single weekend but I know a good horror movie when I see one. Other than a small amount of blood shown, I don't call this a horror movie. A few jump scares in between scenes, a very creepy, lonely lady and some high school kids looking to party is all this movie is about. It had so much more potential. If they really wanted to call it horror, I don't know why they didn't add more into the scenes. I'm not sure, maybe I'm just desensitised to horror movies. But I don't think I'll watch this one again.

Absolutely no background story and no time to connect with any of the characters. Not going to bother finishing the movie. The likely chance that the ending includes all the girls surviving is highly unrealistic and I would be even more disappointed to find that was written in as the finale. I try to be spontaneous sometimes but I'm a create of habit. It's not really a grey area. The movie is good or it's not. Missed the mark for me.

Really good. Looking forward to S3.
28 June 2020
A bit hesitant these days to start new series but I really liked this one. Camera work, filming, acting and character development is really well done. End of S2, it starts to get a bit slow but overall I understand the progression. Unless you plan on watching this with young kids around, I wouldn't worry about the other reviews. It amazes me how people can review a show as "disgusting" because they decided to watch it with or around their kids and discovered it has adult themes. Save yourself the trouble and check out the "Parental Guide" at the bottom of this page. That's why IMDB created it.

Not amazing but I got through it.
25 June 2020
Not sure what everyone is complaining about. The filming and camera work was actually really well done. Acting could use some work. Story line did keep you guessing. I'm not a big fan of the ending but it did follow through to the beginning of the movie. In my mind, if you can make it through a movie now a days, especially one with subtitles- that's a win in my book.

Couldn't stand the last 2 seasons.
6 May 2020
Season 1-5 were pretty good. Kept me watching. I didn't love Season 6 and I couldn't follow through with Season 7. Sloppy writing. Not sure why they feel as though they have to kill of characters just to make the show more interesting or dramatic. That's bad writing. Jax should have left with Tara and the boys when he had the chance. That would have been a better ending. Unfortunately violence only breeds violence. Can't expect nothing else. Disappointed to say the least.
