Silver Surfer (1998)
I laughed
Man, that cartoon is so... how I should say that? Stupid? Yeah, it's definitely stupid, but I wanted to say something else. Maybe it's boring? Oh, no it isn't. I watched this stupidness and laughed. It's funny! It's bad, but still funny. Everyone, who ever read some Marvel comics should watch it and take a good laugh, but I think no one of self-respected fanboys (or fangirls, if such a word even exists) wouldn't make it to the rewatch. It's really stupid! Drax is an android? Man, that's just sucks. Oh, and don't even ask me about Adam Warlock (long hair and Ra's Al Ghul beard. It's just killing me!). But there is one really good part - it's picture itself. Jack Kirby-style cartoon - it's not what you seeing every day. You should watch it, but for just one time. You wouldn't want to watch it anymore, believe me.
Shrek the Third (2007)
Shrek's still alive, but for how long?
Yeah, that's what everyone says: "It's a disappointment!", "It lost it's magic!", "It's not what it used to be!"... Well, I agree, it's not that brilliant masterpiece the first two "Shreks" were, but it's still pretty good. There are still many great jokes, funny characters... Well, I must admit that new characters is just not as funny as the old ones. And... there are also a number of jokes, which are quite lame. But there are not so many of them, though. The most disturbing thing in the movie, it's ogre babies. Am I an only one, who thinks, that they're just disgusting? It's like Teletubbies meets... other Teletubbies. Ew! Gross! But it's just not enough to ruin a good movie, it's still fun to watch. And while Dreamworks keeps even this level of quality, I would love Shrek.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007)
We have another great trilogy!
"The curse of the Black Pearl" was a direct shot blowing your brain away with a big bang, "Dead man's chest" was a really funny and enjoyable sequel, so what do we have here, at world's end? Yeah, it's really an end, can you believe it? It seems that Disney studios hadn't saw such a lot of money since... never! And now it's gone. Well, it's bad only for a Disney, 'cause it was right thing to do. In the end, we have a perfect final for a trilogy. The movie has it all: humor, action, charismatic characters, brilliant dialogs, groundbreaking special effects... hell, you saw the first two movies, you know what I'm talking about. And it really looks like an end. Well, at last for some characters. There still some hope for a some kind of spin-off, but I don't want a fourth movie, the story is completed. Oh, yeah, this movie has a best wedding scene in a history! There's all what I can wish for. I'm happy.
Ocean's Thirteen (2007)
As good as it always was
Who said that 13 is unlucky number? Nobody knows who said that, but Danny Ocean says "No way!" and blows your head off with new installment of his adventures. I really liked first two movies (though I can't remember almost anything about the first one), and this one haven't disappoint me. It has all that things, which I loved in the "Eleven" and "Twelve": great actors, brilliant characters, awesome humor, and there are Al Pacino this time, what more can one ask for? But there are one thing: if you haven't seen the "Eleven" and "Twelve" (though, the "Twelve" alone would be enough), you won't get that satisfaction that I got. But you do saw it, right? If you don't, why do you watching this one?
