Road House (2024)

Omg omg omg This is Bad

I couldn't tell if it was intentionally "bad" to have fun with and be cheesy, but it is painfully bad. Once the local "tough guys" come to the bar/roadhouse they could not have been more un-intimidating, forced, or picked out worse clothing they got at the Gap outlet fire sale. Awful awful. The original Road House was cheesy but awesome. I like Jake G, but man. Good opportunity to show off his abs. Connor McGreggor is hard to tolerate in real life, let alone this piece. I don't know what happened here. Taking the UFC angle was also hard to take seriously. Sam Elliott must be beside himself and Swayze rolling in his grave. Yowza.

Hijack (2023)

Could've been good, but actually painfully bad

Good show topic; hijack, hostages, prison break. But absolutely terrible story line. Nothing good at all about Idris. He's just being the lead star. So many horrible unbelievable parts. He constantly betrays the hijackers but yet receives no punishment. He attacks a hijacker and then asks the hijacker's to give him his gun and he does. It's so bad. The hijackers just yell and scream and constantly point their empty guns at people. Nothing is believable. An air traffic controller decides she's now going to take the lead, not the British government, and negotiate with Idris, who for some reason magically has all the hijacker's taking his advice because "he's a deal maker". It was painful.

Black Widow (2021)

Kind of entertaining. A little funny.

Just an unbelievably dumb story with pretty bad dialogue, as well. The only redeeming thing about the movie was the sometimes funny and cute family dynamic. Other than that, just cheese.

The 2nd (2020)

Absolutely Unwatchable

This movie is so low budget it's embarrassingly bad. I couldn't make it past 20 minutes. Awful. This would receive a D- in someone's 1st year of film school.

Force of Nature (2020)

Unwatchable

This movie is terrible. Couldn't even finish it. Thought it had enough names in it to be decent, but it's not. Hard pass.

Texas Killing Fields (2011)

Decent Movie. Sam Worthington is terrible.

This is a watchable movie, but you could've cast any other human being other than Sam Worthington and the movie would be immensely better. Terrible over acting. Awkward acting by SW. Look away cringe worthy at times.
