Players (2024)
Fun... But,
The movie shows everything that's wrong with modern dating. It depicts a woman having to play games, stalk and lose herself to be with a guy she knows nothing about. She mistakes attraction for love after 5 minutes, which they use as an excuse for the horrible things she does to Nick.
(If you don't thinks the stalking, playing with his heart and destroying his current relationships are horrible... It's time to take a look in the mirror)
Her behaviour during the enitre, predictable, movie makes it hard to feel sorry for her. Even when it all comes tumbling down, you just feel "that's what you get"
To then end up where she should have looked in the first place, the guy that's there for her. The guy that knows her and loves everything about her.
But she only realises this when her friends tell her... Which is a cheap plotline. Instead of letting her have a moment of self reflection. No a woman needs to be told when someone truly loves her or she's never going to see it. The movie clearly doesn't feel how wrong the entire plot is.
Oh how I miss the cute rom-com storries.
Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father (2022)
Unexpectedly bad ending!
The entire season was a 10/10, I mean, give me more. I was glued to my seat for the entire season. But then that ending, theh completely fudge up a tv-show that could have been a 100% ultra awesome. Maybe an intern wrote that finale, but man that left a filthy taste in my mouth. What, so no more Dexter? Damn, I was so happy that after all this time to see and hear him again. That inner voice, it's so good. But then again the finale doesn't do it justice. Kind of a Dexter curse I guess.
The King's Man (2021)
I fell asleep in theaters
I seem to have missed the train where this movie is enjoyable to watch. The only thing this movie has going for it is the strong male lead, but the other characters, and certainly the son, are so boring...
Want a movie to make you sleep? This is the one.
Want a movie you can talk through? This is the one.
Want a nice and enjoyable evening? Tihis is not the movie for you...
You have been warned! Keep this in the "I'll watch it on a rainy day" list and thank me later.
Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)
Sadly Millie Bobby Brown is in this.
Enjoyable yet absurd movie. It's filled with average actors/actrices and Millie Bobby Brown. Just another example of how bad of an actrice she is, she ruined half the movie for me.
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Expensive CW movie
Too long and way too boring. The vissual effects were even worse than on the CW TV-shows. Don't watch it so you don't waste 2 hours of your life
The Newsroom (2012)
Only gets better
The show starts off with one of the greatest openings in television history and it only gets better. Exceptional acting and writing, this show is a must see. You'll love it for it's story and you'll hate for ending way too soon. Go watch it now if you haven't seen it.
The 5th Wave (2016)
WARNING DON'T WATCH IT.
Unless you want the life sucked out of you.
It was an AWESOME concept, but poorly executed. The first 20 min are the best of the whole movie. If it had continued like that it would have been great. This move is like 3 times longer than it should have been.
SPOILER ALERT: it ends on a cliff hanger. I hate the people who wrote this.
The Good Place: Whenever You're Ready (2020)
They nailed it!
That final ending is so beautifully done.
Take it sleazy everybody... Tears man, tears.
Arrow: Green Arrow & the Canaries (2020)
When did they stop hiring real actors
This episode is everything what's wrong with arrow. BAD acting, omg I can't watch Dinah nor Laurel without cringing. It's a good thing that Mia is somewhat capable. It's starting to be a woke show and honestly I just watched this to get to the final episode. After Stephen is, I'm done with this show.
