The Mitchells vs the Machines (2021)
Visually stunning and emotive
This film was quite entertaining with some nice character design and very visually stunning graphics / animation.
Oddly enough my daughter switched off whilst watching the film, so it's hard to know who this is aimed at, I was a bit confused at the age of the main protagonist too, she's too young to drive a car but she's going to university? Is she 14? 16? Was she some prodigy?
Deadpool 2 (2018)
Entertaining
Most superhero films are just tedious and boring because there's no elements of threats or worry that the characters might not make it through. You simply cannot emote to any of the superhero films unless you have severe emotional developmental problems or you are under the age of 12.
Thankfully in Deadpool can overlook do usual tropes and stereotypes because it has a quite a bit of humor. The action displayed pretty entertaining too.
The Avengers (2012)
Childish and uninspired
It's essentially a children's movie that's been padded out for adults. I've never liked the comics and this is just a special effects showcase. The fact captivate so many audience members is a worrying statement on how juvenile society has become.
Zombieland: Double Tap (2019)
Lacklustre but not completely boring.
Definitely has a "straight to video" feel to it. This adds nothing more to the genre or the previous film. It's the same story told with less Bill Murray.
I wouldn't advise giving up time to going and see to this film, you may want to catch it on netflix or TV in a year or two but it's the same story, not as well told. The only plus points are it didn't over-state itself by being over 2hours.
