The Ref (1994)
Watching "The Ref" is a Holiday Tradition
Simply the most realistic Christmas comedy movie ever made and one of the most underrated.
The Holidays always have a way of revealing.the true nature of ourselves and our relationship with families and friends and "The Ref" delivers all of that and more.
I can't understand why "The Ref" isn't in every cable channel Holiday movie lineup along with all the other well worn classics.
The Ted Demme direction is perfect, the cast is perfect, the settings are perfect and the acting is perfect.
I promise you a big cup of
"Scandinavian Christmas Potion" and the joy of family gathering this Holiday Season.
Denis Leary, Christine Baranski, Raymond J. Barry, Judy Davis, Kevin Spacey and Glynis Johns.
Perfect.
Young Sheldon: A Clogged Pore, a Little Spanish and the Future (2022)
Great acting, great writing, great directing.
Great episode to end the season.
I finally found a series with characters I actually care about.
I am certainly looking forward to Season Six but in the meanwhile I will have to watch "Young Sheldon" reruns.
The Equalizer (2021)
Great acting plus Great writing equals A Great Series
Seriously the best series I have watched in years.
Robin McCall (Queen Latifah) is "The Equalizer" getting justice on her terms. Bad guys had better take heed because Robin McCall doesn't compromise. I am so happy to hear the series has been renewed for a 2nd Season.
Call Me Kat: Double Date (2021)
New series has me hooked
I want to go to the "Kat Cafe" every week.
Finally found a new comedy series that makes me laugh out loud.
Call Me Kat (2021)
I like this new series
Finally a show set in Kentucky.
Good writing, Good acting, Prat falls and Cats
What's not to like?
The Good Doctor: She (2018)
No "Transface" this time
Great writing again expertly covers very difficult subject matter in this latest network series episode titled "She".
Doctor Shawn Murphy played by Freddie Highmore is so convincing as an Asperger's adult learning to understand his world view of life and living fully in it, I can hardly stand to wait for the next episode.
Credit to the producers for actually casting a transgender actress to play a transgender character is groundbreaking casting for American network television.
As everyone can see about a half a dozen user reviews so far gave this episode only a score of 1 out of 10. To bad some of these other reviews are so blinded by their ignorance and prejudice for the condition of Gender Dysphoria especially in children, they couldn't get anything out of this wonderful episode. I hope this groundbreaking show continues to show the courage to present the relevant social issues affecting health care in our time. Job well done goes to "The Good Doctor"
