Pushing Daisies (2007)
The right show on the wrong decade.
Lovely honest and unique. Specially by that time, it was extremely innovative.
Luca (2021)
Not this time, Pixar.
It felt like a long Italy advertisment. There's Pasta, there's a moka, there's a Vespa, Nonnas, gelato, bikes, speaking loudly and using hands.
The plot is quite silly, I mean, sea people that transforms to normal people when they are out of the water...
The animation is beautiful though, but that's it.
Soltos (2020)
Horrible
Just trash.
It maybe the worst show I ever watched. I wish I could rate zero.
Don't do this to yourself, I mean it.
Instead of watching this why don't you go do something better and funnier like pin your finger at some door, or climb a staircase on your knees, or even be envolved in a car accident. It doesn't lack better options than this show.
Don't watch it, I wish I could unwatch but there's still time for you.
Ford v Ferrari (2019)
U.S. being U.S.
A cool movie about how North American company/team cheats in the most U.S. way to win a very famous competition and sell even more cars.
High Fidelity (2020)
It works!
Honestly I don't know where all the bad reviews are coming from. Before watching this series I've watched the movie a few times years before. I knew I had liked it but couldn't remember much.
Now I've watched the series and the movie again afterwards and I dare to say: somehow, in my opinion, the series works better than the movie.
The movie is still great but the series has something to it; I guess it give us more time to sympathize with the characters and the actors chill vibes help with this.
P.s.: I never read the book, so...
P.s.2: I rated 10 just to fight a bit all those unfair 1's. Actually I would rate 8.
Great show! Enjoy.
A Star Is Born (2018)
Meh
Poor script. Everything goes to fast and the movie lacks identification with the characters. The plot holds no real problem to be sooved.
