Grey's Anatomy: Everything Has Changed (2022)
A real "back to basics" feel
I adored this episode. After a few years of me just watching Grey's as a habit (after watching for so long, you just feel like you need to ride it out), the new season started out with a BANG!
I felt like the show went back to its original routes with this. I do believe it was intentional. As for the biggest Greys fans, we could see many similarities between this episode and the first 2 episodes of S1.
Everytime we have been introduced to new characters, they seem pretty Samey (don't get me wrong, i do end up liking them), but this new crop seem like they could be as interesting as the actual OG's of the show.
I hope it continues.
Chicago Fire: Completely Shattered (2022)
Give Hanako Greenberg an Oscar
Wow. I know a lot of people have said that Fire has not been as good in recent years, i would agree. However this season has started very strongly. And then this episode... fantastic. Even the previous 2 episodes, i am liking Carver's story. Then comes Completed Shattered. A very entertaining and devastating episode. The death of Hawkins was a shock to me, as well as the rest of the fans.
Why can't out beloved characters ever get to be happy? Violet deserves happiness. But Hanako Greenberg's acting was ridiculously good in that final scene. Her screams cut straight through me. Can't wait to see how this goes.
New Amsterdam: Things Fall Apart (2021)
Best of Season 3
Got to say I have been a little disappointed by most of S3 due to, too much focus on political issues. But this episode was fantastic, just like the best episodes of S1-2. Great character moments, brilliant plot, intense drama and a lot of progression. By far the best of this year!
9-1-1: Lone Star: Bad Call (2021)
Best so far
Season 2 has been a step up from S1. After episode 2 and 3 I didn't think it'd be topped. But this one did it. Cannot wait to see the continuation!
Tyrant (2014)
I personally loved it
I think its a great show. Season 1 is good for the character development. Season 2 is incredible in my opinion
Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack (2008)
Excellent series
I am SO loving the series!!!! ITS ONE OF THE BEST!!! I loved all the people in there, they were all great.
But I really wanted Victor to win because he was the most entertaining out of all the others.I was so sad when he left. But now 6 remain, and with the finale just 2 days away. There is only one question...Who will take the crown??
Its very unpredictable but I am rooting for Emilia to win. Im loving the series!!! Don't want it to end!!!
Well done BB for making this one of the most memorable series ever!!! 10/10
Run of the House (2003)
Amazing
I am completely shocked that this show had been cancelled.Ity only lasted one year.I just recently started watching it and I love it.Its a show that could of gone as far as Friends went.It had the humour and was extremely enjoyable.
It is about 2 brothers and 2 sisters living under one roof without their parents.Kurt(Joey Lawrence) plays the part of the oldest sibling and takes on the more fatherly role.
This should of lasted much more than year as it was fantastic. Amazing show with all the best actors.
10/10
She's the Man (2006)
She is the man
**Spoilers ahead**
Viola Johnson (Amanda Bynes) had her own good reasons for disguising herself as her twin brother Sebastian (James Kirk) and enrolling in his place at his new boarding school, Illyria Prep. She was counting on Sebastian being AWOL from school as he tried to break into the music scene in London. What she didn't count on was falling in love with her hot roommate, Duke (Channing Tatum), who in turn only has eyes for the beautiful Olivia (Laura Ramsey). Making matters worse, Olivia is starting to fall for Sebastian, who--for reasons Olivia couldn't't¿t begin to guess--appears to be the sensitive type of guy she'd always dreamt of meeting. If things weren't complicated enough, the real Sebastian has come back from London two days earlier than expected and arrives on campus having no clue that he's been replaced...by his own twin sister.
What a film.It contained some of the best lines and quotes ever.I like the chemistry that Channing Tatum and Amanda Bynes had. They are both very talented actors.Well Viola as a boy was absolutely hilarious. Its just so funny watching her trying to act like a guy. It has great characters in there, obviously Viola and Duke but there are also people like Eunice, Sebastian and Olivia. If you love comedies and even if your not into them, check this film out because its fantastic and funny.
10/10
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: School Hard (1997)
Spike and Dru:The exciting new villains
**Spoilers**
Spike and Dru arrive in Sunnydale as the new villains.Spike is a British, blonde haired creepy but hilarious character and Dru is well a nut-case-literally.Buffy has got parent teacher night coming up, she is worried about this as she doesn't want her Mum to find out what the principle thinks of Buffy. The evening starts and the vamps crash in.Buffy must protect everyone from the vampires.
A fantastic episode. This episode was faultless, had nothing wrong with it.It introduces a character which will become more popular and will be involved in later episodes.Spike is hilarious. This is a fantastic episode with some great memorable lines.
10/10.Top marks
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Some Assembly Required (1997)
Frankenstein story
**Spoilers**
When the bodies of girls are being dug up in Sunnydale, Buffy soon finds out that someone is trying to build the perfect woman using the body parts of different people.
A average episode.Nothing special going on and its one of my least favourites from Season 2.
Introduucing Darryl a high school student that died and wants his alive brother to get him the perfect girl, even if that means to cut up girls different body parts and stick them on. A kind of silly episode.I liked the relationship between Jenny and Giles coming together though. There were some decent lines but there's not much to really get you into the episode.
5/10
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: When She Was Bad (1997)
An enjoyable premiere
In the second season opener, Buffy, having spent the summer with her father in LA, returns to Sunnydale a changed person. She still hasn't learnt to cope with the traumatic experience she endured with the Master and takes it out on those closest to her. Meanwhile, the Anointed One tries to bring The Master back from the grave.
I really enjoyed this episode.I actually thought it was a rather eventful and strong opener. This is the episode that Buffy acts as a bitch.I love seeing her like this and the dance with Xander was very sexy. Very good episode. It was very sexy and quirky. I give the episode a 8/10 because i enjoyed it very much and is impressive for a starter.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Prophecy Girl (1997)
Excellent ending to the first series.
May contain spoilers.
As the first season comes to a close, Giles reads about an ancient prophecy which states that Buffy will face the Master and die, thus setting him free from his underground prison. Buffy finds out about this by overhearing a secret conversation between Angel and Giles, and reacts by deciding to abandon her slayer duties. However as more signs of the end of the world keep appearing, Buffy realises that she must face the Master.
A fantastic finish to the first season.Oh i just loved every second of it.The earthquake at the start was awesome and then Buffy's emotional lines when she finds out she's about to die. Great performances and everyone was in character. I loved how the master gets killed by Buffy concluding it to a excellent episode.
10/10 a very great episode.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: I, Robot... You, Jane (1997)
Not that bad
When a demon named Moloch is accidentally released into the Sunnydale computer system, he begins to go target Willow, by posing as a teenage boy named Malcolm and chatting with her through Internet connection. However, Buffy becomes concerned with Willow's growing relationship with this mystery boy and tries to uncover the truth. When she gets her nose in too deep, Moloch sends his minions to dispose of her.
As people say, lots of people dislike this episode. I agree that it wasn't the best but it definitely not the worst. It was quite funny at times and there were some great quotes in the episode. I give this episode a 5/10
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Puppet Show (1997)
The dummy's creepy.
While being forced to take part in the annual Sunnydale High talent show, Giles, Buffy, Xander and Willow discover that danger lurks backstage when people begin dying gruesome deaths. The number one suspect is a student and his ventriloquist dummy, but as Buffy and her friends soon learn, not everything is as it seems.
This was a good episode. Its creepy when the dummy shows up at Buffy's window which still scares me to this day. This is quite a fun episode to watch, but if your scared of ventriloquist dummies than your be quite scared of this.
To sum up i give this episode a 7/10.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Out of Mind, Out of Sight (1997)
Cordy reavels she's not just a bitch.
A series of mysterious attacks leave the students of Sunnydale High stumped. When Buffy comes to the conclusion that all the attacks revolve around Cordelia Chase, she and her friends do some more digging and discover that it's an invisible force that's doing all the attacking and is holding a grudge against Cordelia. It is now up to Buffy to stop this menace from exacting it's revenge, but how can she do battle with something she can't even see?
OK well.Im not sure really what to say about this episode. It wasn't very good. What saves it from being a poor episode is Cordy. She shows a more caring and less bitchy side in this episode.
5/10
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Nightmares (1997)
Very memorable
Be aware of spoilers
The nightmares of the entire Sunnydale population start to become reality, and Buffy discovers that a comatose boy named Billy may be the cause of it. The only way to get things back to normal is if Buffy can get Billy to overcome his fear and wake up from his coma.
Very funny and weird episode. But i love it.This is where all of the gangs nightmares come true. Some were funny and some were very creepy. It had very memorable quotes and i think its fantastic.
And also i know that kid from somewhere but i just don't know where from.lol
9/10
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Angel (1997)
Angel!
After he saves her from a gang of vampire warriors, Angel and Buffy's relationship grows. As their love blooms, Buffy learns that Angel has been hiding a dark secret. She hesitates, not sure what to believe, but when Angel's secret puts someone she loves in danger, she knows what she has to do.
The revelation episode. This is a fantastic episode and one of the best in the first series. This is where the continuing storyline of the Angel/Buffy romance starts. I really enjoyed this episode very much and this is where everything starts. If your looking for a great episode this is the one.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Never Kill a Boy on the First Date (1997)
Surprised that i liked this
Yearning for a normal life, Buffy agrees to a date with the mysterious and brooding Owen. Giles discovers a prophecy of coming danger which would interfere with her plans, but she chooses Owen over battling the forces of darkness. When Giles goes out on his own and is trapped by a group of vampires, Buffy must figure out a way to balance dating and Slaying.
I was surprised with this episode as i seem to be the only one that likes it.I think it had a little bit of a slow start but this is where the characters begin to grow on me.
7/10
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Welcome to the Hellmouth (1997)
Great start for a fantastic series
Buffy summers is an average teenage girl that had just been kicked out from her old school. Wrong! Buffy has very big responsibilities, she has to fight vampires, demons and has to save the world. This may sound like a very stupid and dumb series but you will be amazed. It is a great start to an awesome series. Buffy was kicked out from her old school after burning down the Gym. She moves to Sunnydale where she has thought that she had escaped from her responsibilities but the demons have followed her.She is helped with 2 new close friends that she meets.
Very Good start, Joss.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Witch (1997)
First appearance of Amy.
Buffy wants to try for the cheerleading team, so she tries desperately to get in the team. She meets Amy(one of Willow's friends) who wants to make it in the team too. But Amy has got something else up her sleeve. She badly wants to become a cheerleader so she tries to get rid of some of the others to make her way into it.She weakens Buffy, she blinds Cordillia and she does other things. But is it actually Amy doing this? Or is it someone else?
This is a just above average episode which kept me watching. Here the characters grow and its good to see something other than vampires as the villains.
6/10
Jeepers Creepers (2001)
OK, so unscary and dumb
Well where should i start. Firstly i would like to say that i really disliked this movie and i think that its on of the worst movies around. The storyline had no point.OK so the film started and i was quite excited to see it.The whole beginning part seemed interesting so i thought that i would like the movie. And then all of a sudden this creature comes up and starts ripping everyones toungs and eyeballs out.I don't get the point, this movie had no solid story and it was rather uneventful with nothing to get excited about. If you want a good scary movie you can rely on something like Scream,Halloween or A nightmare on Elm Street.
Scream (1996)
My kind of movie
**Spoiler**
A year after her mothers death, strange things are happening in the town of Woodsboro, the town where Maureen Prescott used to live.Sydney is the main target in this great, funny, gory and unbelievable film. One by one Sydneys friends are killed in brutal ways, this is done to get to Sydney. But are the 2 killers the ones that killed her mum? And have they got a connection with Sydney?
Love the film, it was awesome.I bought the DVD and i was amazed on how good a horror movie can be.There are lots of thrills and great death scenes.
I recommend this to anyone that loves horrors like Halloween.
The Grudge 2 (2006)
Why could they have stopped after the first
Well i was disappointed in this movie. It did not preform well and was much worse than the first Grudge which i give a 8/10 a very respectable score. But back to the second one.It was quite bad. There wasn't that much of Sarah Michelle Gellar. There was bad acting. Not a very firm storyline.
Soo.... Thats why i have gave the film a 4/10 which i think is very generous for me. But check out other films with Sarah Michelle Gellar as everyone may find more interesting than this. If you are thinking of buying this i think it will be better to rent just in case people don't like it.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Teacher's Pet (1997)
down there with the bottom
Spoilers ahead Buffy receives a warning from Angel about a dangerous new vampire in Sunnydale whose hand has been replaced by razor sharp blades. When her biology teacher turns up decapitated in the lunch room fridge, Buffy and the gang are quick to blame this new vamp. However, things aren't all they seem with the new substitute, Miss French, who is a little too good at raising the boys' temperatures and, it turns out, scaring evil vampires with razor sharp blades. When Xander and other male students who were helping Miss French begin disappearing, Giles remembers a story of a creature, not unlike a praying mantis, that preys on male virgins. Buffy, Giles and Willow rescue the guys from Miss French's basement, dusting the evil vamp and slicing and dicing Miss French in the process.
This episode is i think the worst of Buffy which i just don't like viewing and its so dull. Its the only episode that i don't like.
Save the Last Dance (2001)
the greatest
wow thats all i can say- This to me is the best film that Julia stiles has been in- well and 10 thing i hate about you. THe music in it is great and how many times you watch it never gets boring. It has the best cast and it works very well. This is suited to the people who like hip hop music and can relate to the characters. which is about nearly everything. spoilers ahead
The film is about a girl who is really into ballet but she stops when her mum tragically dies in a car accident. She moves in with her dad in a black neighbourhood with lots of crimes going round. She falls in love with Derek and he teachers her how to dance in their style. It is an excellent film.
