Supernatural (2005)
Marvellous show, marvellous Sam and Dean, marvellous storylines.
The only criticism I can direct toward Supernatural is that the show should have continued on after season fifteen, instead of ending its run.
There will never be another show like this. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles together as the Winchester brothers were phenomenal.
Their relationship, their bond, was extraordinary.
Even knowing that they were acting out roles, they made Sam and Dean seem real-life brothers, and they became almost like family to those watching the show.
The storylines were interesting and engaging, and the writers weren't afraid to elaborate on any and all situations, even the most controversial.
The brothers were true alpha hunters, intelligent, strong, and handsome, yet capable of making us cry with the emotions they exhibited when the other was in danger, or needed to bare their soul in the classic brother moments in the Impala.
I really miss them and Supernatural.
Current-day shows are uninteresting, poorly written and poorly acted.
It's no wonder that I, and many others prefer rewatching the wonderful Supernatural instead of what we're getting now on TV and streaming.
Gotham Knights (2023)
They never learn. CW continues its decline.
Another pitiful entry into the CW 'dare to defy' trope that has brought them nothing but dismal failure on all counts.
Every current show they have aired has been an abomination that no one watches/watched. Naomi, Tom Swift, 4400, Batwoman, just to name a few.
The Winchesters hasn't been cancelled yet but I'm predicting it will be added to the list of dud shows.
A pity it couldn't live up to the marvellous show Supernatural was.
An average you-tuber gets more views on their videos than a dreary show like Gotham Knights gets each week.
The fact that the writing staff of Batwoman, a cancelled show that everyone laughed at, were rewarded for the failure of said show with the showrunning of Gotham Knights seems incredible to a normal person.
Failure should be penalized not celebrated.
But such is.
Again we have a bunch of entitled teens with no charisma, either individually or with each other, five-foot-one slim girls taking down burly big men...and defeating them of course,
Clue in bad writing, bad acting and cheap special effects and we have another candidate for cancellation.
Well done, CW!
Winchester: Don't Play with Fire (2021)
Why didn't we get this instead of The Winchesters?
This show looks miles better that the awful cringe-worthy' The Winchesters'. Why wasn't this produced instead?
The actor playing John looks the part, and the show looks gritty, as a Supernatural spin-off should.
It would have been so interesting having the real John Winchester's back story, his courtshiip, marriage and loss of his wife Mary, left with his small children to raise.
This looks like a show for adults, far more attractive that the reboot we're actually getting. Such a shame that it seems to have beeen passed over for a silly teen drama which twists the Supernatural canon around as if it were a tornado.
A missed hit, in my opinion.
Supernatural: Carry On (2020)
Awesome Finale! An emotional roller-coaster ride!
The most wonderful finale of any TV show.
The Winchester brothers together for eternity, overflowing with happiness at knowing they will never be separated again.
I can picture the two of them driving around Heaven in Baby, filled with pure soulmate happiness.
I can't express how much loved it. Sam and Dean are legend forever.
