Star Trek: Picard (2020)
A different Star Trek - different Picard.
I love the series. It meshes in well with the future as seen in Abrams reboot where Romulus has been destroyed by a super nova.
Picard has aged and it shows. He has had losses with regard to the Federation and what he thinks he can achieve in his career. Picard has settled into an uneasy retirement until an unusual young women shows up in his life asking for his help. She is assassinated by the Romulan secret police, the Tal Shiar , and the adventure beings.
Picard gathers a rag tag team and spaceship to find and save the women's twin sister. Two of the crew are ex-star fleet who have had their own bad experiences with Starfleet.
The series premise appears to me to be, "Lets look at people in Starfleet who crashed and burned in their career." So this is not Star Trek Next Generation where everybody is clearly a social being who all most universally succeeds. The series is exploring parts of the human experience in the Star Trek world.
I like the attention to detail and the graphics and the photography.

re: Joelle's bra
No they were not messing with the viewers in my opinion. Joelle starts to answer his question so she becomes more sexy to him.
