Butchers (2020)
Uhhh
If the writers and producer intended for Butchers to be mind-numbing~ score. They nailed it.
The title fits Owen and Oswald like a glove. The idea of being stuck in the middle of freaking no-where with psychotic soulless maniacs who have absolutely no decency whatsoever nor a scintilla of regard for human life itself...
this is the stuff nightmares are made of. Or night terrors.
I inadvertently hollered a couple of times. But it also gave me like just a sense of disgust. Like a funk. The kind that makes you dizzy.
I think next time I'll read the reviews first. Butchers is graphic. I wish I could've been a bit more mentally prepared for that.
After Truth: Disinformation and the Cost of Fake News (2020)
Informing on the dangers of misinforming.🤔
Great information. For anyone who rates 6 or less they're realizing everything they've believed before now IS WRONG apparently. Like mom always said- the truth hurts. But nonetheless, it's a great reminder to all. It's not cool to be a rumor mill, gossiper or someone who spread lies. That makes you a liar actually. Cool, smart and popular people are the ones trying to learn the truth.
(Somewhat) Spoiler🚨
I will say, for what it's worth, Alex Jones was a pioneer in "getting to the truth" or lambasting the conspiracies (so to speak). The biggest mistake he made (this can be researched too btw) was Sandy Hook. That sealed his fate, his fall from grace started there IMO. I told him, let it go Alex, don't mess with the kid stories. I saw the death certificates, these children died, LET IT GO. He made his own choices. Look where he is now. All the best to Alex. God love him but he needs to take care of his health. Anyway- you should watch this if you're in a mood to learn. If the truth hurts don't blame just feel blessed, for crying out loud. Be informed on how to not be misinformed!

The Will: Family Secrets Revealed: Estate of Wilbur Robinson (2010)
Pleasant surprise
I admit, I never heard of this series before. I'm so glad I happened upon The Will. At first I wasn't sure what to expect or if it was even real because the characters seemed unusually warm, witty and personable. Since I've never watched another show that focused on a persons will or their estate I can't really think of any similar comparison. But I can say, without a doubt I found myself intrigued, curious and inspired by this Robinson family- the stories from their youth and on into their golden years. What an amazingly warm and charming group of people that are also a great example of patience, perseverance, resilience and love. Seems their own mother and father did a great job bringing up the children. I was very touched when Elmeda was talking about her mother and IDK if this is normal but I thought to myself, "Awwwee, I hope my children will one day think that highly of me as Elmeda thinks of her mother." Honestly, I thought each one of the characters in this episode of The Will were so very interesting. And yes, even the character whose conduct was on the shady side.
