Thunder Force (2021)

Super bad, and not in a good way

This movie is deeply unfunny for a supposed comedy. Even the trailer doesn't make the movie look like its worth watching and thats the whole job of a trailer. Nobody else who saw the movie with me liked it either so that was the group consensus.

Not sure any of the actors could have saved the movie due to the poor script, they also didn't seem to be doing their best despite that with rather wooden performances for the most part.

Devil May Care (2021)

I like Alan Tudyk, but I do not like this

I was trying to give it the benefit of the doubt since its the first episode but it was just painful to watch. Oh cats are evil that is so original (sarcasm)

Social media commentary just isn't particularly funny especially in this case. Hell has old technology, must have taken seconds to think of that one as an idea.

Some of the backgrounds in the scenes are OK is about the best I can say about it really, the voice actors turned up for work and read their lines. No special performances from anybody as far as I can tell.

Shame Alan Tudyk is wasted in this really, he is much better in Resident Alien which also started recently.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker (2019)

Horrific

Certainly the worst Star Wars movie, horrible plot holes you could drive a death star through. Describing all the bad things will just raise my blood pressure. A terrible ending to a terrible recent trilogy.

Jumanji: The Next Level (2019)

A poor sequel to an average movie

I thought the jokes were unfunny for the most part, the CGI was passable. The main disappointment is the inclusion of 'old people', which don't get me wrong Danny Devito and Danny Glover are amazing guys but the script writers portraying old people and old people not getting video games is a super tired trope. Especially when its dragged on for half the movie. It just gets boring and repetitive.

Wait for it to be on a movie streaming service before watching if you really have to see it.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot (2019)

A really poor effort

Wow this movie is bad, I liked the clerks movies and the original Jay & Silent bob movie for the most part but this is just super lazy and sloppy. The script is very poor and most of the actors are just phoning in their performance for a paycheck or are being blackmailed into it I guess.

Sure there is a basic theme about allowing kids to enjoy reboots that original fans may not enjoy, but its a film that should have stayed in Kevin Smiths head instead of wasting everyone's time by being made.

The Addams Family (2019)

Awful waste of time and the source material.

The plot was lame, and pretty much a remake of the first Addams family movie, they could have done so much more. Wasn't funny and the characters were rather muted. Morticia and Gomez were particularly one dimensional.

The animation was pretty average, I didn't really like the art style much.
