Asur: Welcome to Your Dark Side (2020)
Poor story and poor execution towards the end!
I started watching the series with episode one being good to the episode 2-3 being best. But then story took a dramatic loss of grip. CBI is only shown as if it was only consists of five to six guys and that's all. They (CBI) are shown helpless and without any plan without Arshad. And putting Arshad into lockup makes no sense as to why the killer would wanted him there. Poor story execution to say the least. The last episode where Arshad calls the killer to kill him lost the plot and at too many points were pointless it looked like the director just wanted to wrap it up ASAP.
Treadstone (2019)
A Russia USA Spy War
This series starts from 1973 and then goes to the present day. Then goes back and then goes all the way to London to North Korea at present, showing some sleeper cells becoming active. All I could get is that its a propaganda series where some agency's trained assassins are made active and they are asked to perform some serious bad missions.
The plot looks interesting but I hope to find more clarity in the coming episodes.
The Flash (2014)
A Great Show Getting Killed by Weak Plot and Bad Storyline
One thing what I have learnt from these superhero shows is, it is not your superhero which is important but the villain. If the villain character of the series is badass it makes the plot a lot more interesting because then the hero really have an uphill task to beat the his nemesis. And this is what makes a storyline complete, the one which makes the audience to get glued to the show till the very end.
The Flash as most of other viewers response goes, the series since it's inception has nosedived in terms of plot, storyline, character build-up, etc. The series drastically needs a good villain which is ruthless. Someone like Thawne aka Reverse Flash. But even that character the writers have pushed off limits by adding emotional touch. Emotions are good but you need to add a flair in plot which gives strength to the characters and not make them weak. Just like the writers wanted to show that The Flash gets strength from its emotions the same way the villain character should edge out. Like Thanos who is emotionally attached to her daughter but at the same time killed her too for his goal.
Also I feel the writers want every heel character to turn soft by Flash's convincing power and this looks really silly.
There is one more thing which the writers keep on doing is deviating from the main story by adding needless plots in between. Caitlin's father could have been a real badass villain but the writers were so caught up with Cicada that they just somehow made introduction of Thomas Snow aka Icicle look like a fill-in and not a lead role. So they should concentrate on one villain say in one half and other villain in second half which will make the series much more enjoyable and interesting.
Zoom to me was by far the best villain and after that Savitar and Reverse Flash. But DeVoe and Cicada didn't live upto the expectations.
Also one more thing which is really disturbing is that how everyone around The Flash is blessed with Superpowers and which actually killing the show. The show should only concentrate on Flash beating villains altering all odds but the way series is being shown it's making The Flash shown as a really weak superhero who can't do much without the support of his sidekicks.
I hope that the creative team, writers and director of the show will take serious thought into the downfall points and will not repeat the same mistakes they keep on doing.
Searching (2018)
Innovative and Thoughtfully designed with Masterstroke of Teaching
Wow! Superb! These are the two words I said after watching this excellent movie. The best thing about the movie is it connects with you. The cast is not shown as some multi-million family but as a common man whose wife dies due to cancer and the daughter grows up just in the starting numbering, this is really innovative and the theme is taken from the internet sensation photos of a man and her daughter who kept on clicking photos each year at same place for 25 years. Showing different stages of their lives.
The movie also teaches us about relationships and how lack of communication with our near ones is hampering our lives and our relationship. One can say that the father in the movie was irresponsible but aren't we all getting something like that? We all are busy in our work lifes that we don't have time for our kids. I hope we all will not only learn from the movie but also will raise our children with much love and care.
Jack Ryan (2018)
A good story which grips you.
I started watching the series only after hearing praises from others. And I am not at all disappointed with what I heard. The first episode towards the end makes you feel like the movie 13 Hours Benghazi. And coincidentally that movie also had John Krasinski in it. But let me tell you this series is nothing like the movie. It not only have action and combat scenes but much more than that. They tried to showcase the lives of people from both sides (terrorists and CIA operatives). And with all those problems in their lives in the background they still do their duties and outperform. All in all it's a must watch series and now I am waiting eagerly for the next season.
Ghoul (2018)
Pathetic, Dull and Bore
I will not go into religious elements, which the writers just wanted to showcase with all their heart and soul. But seriously after watching Sacred Games my hopes was high at least I was expecting some good story line, but this series is a big FLOP and didn't portray any horror or thriller which we see in other Hollywood Drama series. My hopes are all shattered after watching this mini series. Better watch something else than wasting your time on this three part non-sense.
