Tolo Tolo (2020)
It's a comedy, don't take it too seriously!
As usual, Zalone tries to "educate" the audience by impersonating characters who reflect some of the worst Italian stereotypes and behaviors. This time the main theme is immigration from Africa. The movie is full of irreverent jokes and gags that aim to politically correctness, hypocriticals, racists, do-gooders, embedded reporters, politicians, fashion-addicts and fascists. Although one would expect some drama (given the issues addressed), this is a comedy and my advice is: Don't take it too seriously. Personally, I didn't like the end and I must admit that Zalone's previous movies (directed by Nunziante) were probably better made. However, the movie is enjoyable and gives some food for thoughts.
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Save time & money, go watch smtg else.
The movie was so boring that I was expecting a breakthrough at any time. But unfortunately I had to wait more than 2 hours before something interesting happened, and although the ending was fun it doesn't justify the 9 euros I had to pay in order to watch that pointless "tribute to Hollywood". Even though you are QT it doesn't mean you are allowed to torture people for 2+ hours with nonsense movies. Even though you get the best cast, it doesn't guarantee you'll make a great movie. It's time somebody stands up, raise their voice and cries out that "The king isn't wearing anything at all!"
