Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Jumping the Intergalactic Shark
Frankly underwhelming, the ninth and final installment of the Star Wars franchise failed to live up to the greatness and potential of the Star Wars dynasty. The deaths of important characters often went unanswered and were rather random. The outcome of the protagonists efforts was completely Disneyiffied. The amount of plot holes within the movie was disappointingly large, leaving the viewer with multiple unanswered questions that made the movie difficult to follow. However, the special effects must be given the proper praise that is due to them as the visuals of this movie, as is always the case in the Star Wars franchise, were unbelievable and gave a touch if realism. Although, the incredible special effects, however exquisite, could not overcome the overall jumping of the intergalactic shark that the 'Rise of Skywalker' was.
The Greatest Showman (2017)
Made me cry
This musical is beautiful and impactful. The songs make me cry whenever I hear them. No matter how long it's been since I last saw it, I can hear one beat and Immediately know which song it is. Unforgettably brilliant, and full of pure awesomeness.
Undone (2019)
A Complicatedly Simple Jigsaw Puzzle
Undone is an absolutely wonderful series. It takes a concept that might be difficult to understand, and makes it understandable without removing any key parts to understanding it. The theme was hard to understand at first, but as I watched each episode, I kept having those moments where I go, "Oh, so that's why", or, "Oh, thats because of this scene", where I can piece together each moment. And I really enjoy putting together a TV series, like a jigsaw puzzle. Its somehow more interesting than a normal paint by numbers progression from beginning to end.
In short, it is an awesome series that is completely worth watching.
The Boys (2019)
A Super Series
When I first heard of 'The Boys', I thought it would be your standard superhero series, but when I actually watched it, I discovered I was dead wrong. After 15 minutes of the first episode, it was impossible to stop watching. It was a more believable take on what the world would look like if superheroes were flying around today, with characters that were unforgettably unique. There were times when I thought that the 'good guys' were the 'bad guys', and times when I thought the 'bad guys' were the 'good guys'. But in the end, I found that there weren't any 'all-good' or 'all-bad' characters, but 'all-human' characters, sometimes with more-than-human abilities.
It's a super series, definitely worth your time.
Frasier (1993)
I'm Listening and I'm Laughing
Fraser is in credibly witty and down my hilarious. It's characters move fluidly throughout each storyline, and each interaction between characters is not without a good laugh.
