One Day (2024)
S O B B I N G
I don't know how to say this but I REALLY liked this series, until the end of Ep13. I was not ready for that. I've never read the book, didn't even know it was written from A Book, but I was curious. I love/loved Emma. She had her issues and so did Dexter. Dexter learned as he grew up and Emma learned more about herself. They were the best together. I didn't realize that in Ep14 I was going to SOB MASSIVE TEARS through the whole episode. I feel like I look like the actresses that can cry on queue. When they're having a big dramatic meltdown or what have you. THATS how I feel at least. I loved it.
Of an Age (2022)
Beautifully done!
This was an amazing movie! Right off the bat I connected with the characters because I once had to part ways with a past lover and it nearly wrecked me. When Adam and Kol are in the car and Adam drops Kol off, the tears immediately started rolling down for me. The chemistry that they built made it hard for Kol to let go. The iconic scene of them up on the hill looking and Adam grabbing Kol from behind was the scene that did it for me. The love between them was nothing like I've seen in a movie. Later in the movie when it was announced that Adam was married, I felt attacked and I'm not even an actress! The very end where they didn't care to make love, but Adam whispering "my beautiful boy" made it all that much more enticing. I can not rant about this movie enough.
Our Flag Means Death (2022)
Rewatching for the 4th time!
I can not get enough of this show. I've watched movies and other series on all platforms, but somehow I ALWAYS end back up watching OFMD! I follow the account on Instagram and they keep us up to date. I can not wait for the next season!
