Shocking Piece hall Blow Up

Great episode but a bit convoluted. I was shocked to see (who recognised it?), the Halifax Piece Hall featured as Moscow then Blown Up! CGI I hope🤣🤣 Not easy to see where Fury has returned from and a few Avenger references will please the Avenger fans. Thanos Snap is key. A bit dark and moody some of the dialogue is a bit garbled, could do better. I don't think it will have general appeal,mainly for marvel Avenger fans. The Invasion of The Bodysnatchers is a perennial Sci-Fi ruse but I hope Marvel have enough in their tank to get new mileage out of it. The Scewers look a bit too much like Obeonekenobe!

The King's Man (2021)

Know your history

Great movie to bring the Kingsmen to life. Made much more interesting with attention to detail. Know your history of late 19th and early 20th century. Especially WWI. Throwing in the War Poets, look out for Wilfred Owen. Don't blink in this film.

Cruella (2021)

70s soundtrack fun and well told story

Was hesitant about this film when it started but then loved it. Starts out as a sort of self narrated biopic with handheld camera technique but does change later. The characterisations are good and believable. Even though a "kids" film, overlook some implausabilities, it is fun but serious, and has a great 70's soundtrack. The 70s are well portrayed, I was there, some subtle touches shout out the attention to detail they've gone to. Emma Stone carries it off well. We'll done Disney.

Tenet (2020)

Not clever

Emporers new clothes. We turned it up because the dialogue was so quiet and muffled at times, then the effects were deafening. The idea, was good, I understood at the end but it's not worth watching twice. Better explanation through the story would help, then the effects would seem even better rather than puzzling what the heck's happening here? Don't be fooled not a clever film, not well done or worth 2 watches, not like Inception.

The Greatest Showman (2017)

Disappointed

I was really looking forward to this movie but ended up disappointed. I think Mamma Mia was more fun and better. It was enjoyable and fun but it couldn't decide if it was a biopic or a Musical. Some catchy numbers but don't understand why some folk go time after time to singalong. I found the words lost in the noise. The story was hard to follow but i got it.

Bumblebee (I) (2018)

Not enough one liners

Great film for Transformers fans. Makes a good first film for the franchise. Disappointed at lack of Bumblebee radio one liners. Some VW beetle inaccuracies, and continuity problems, but it was fun.

8 year old hooked

My 8 yr old granddaughter is hooked. I like the fact that the main 3 girls are not ultra beautiful and perfect. Ordinary girls like real life?

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Mainly for fans of the Marvel universe, and helps tremendously. Great action, non stop. Leaves you wanting more. Seen the previous but still to see Dr Strange but I do know about him. Want Stan Lee to go on forever. Only problem was the beginning which I didn't understand, was that me?
