Ghosted (2023)
No. Just no.
This might be one of the worst movies I've seen in the past 10-15 years...maybe ever. I kept waiting for it to get good. I'm still waiting. The amount of dislike I have for Chris Evans' character cannot be rated because it's off the charts. He was the biggest piece of garbage, and yet she still chose him in the end. So I'm thinking that she needs more therapy than he does. This movie had potential. But instead they looked at The Spy Who Dumped Me and decided to copy it but make it terrible. Would I recommend this for anyone? It depends on if you're looking to be absolutely angry for 1 1/2 hours. If you like to watch your movies without feeling unsuppressed rage, don't watch this one.
Christmas Coach (2019)
Terrible
I had to stop watching after a bit. I gave it a chance and thought the girl would calm down. But she didn't. I seriously thought she was on speed or coke. It was painful. I can't even tell you the main points because I was so distracted by the main actress's hyper everything. It was nuts. I may have felt that some of these movies have bad leads, boring plots, or no chemistry, but this was in a separate category of its own. If she was told to act like this, then never hire the director again.
From Friend to Fiancé (2019)
Terrible lead actress
I like the male lead. The main girl needs about 2 more years of acting classes. I've seen better acting from my 3 year old niece when she's trying to get out of taking a nap. Harsh? Maybe. Accurate? Yes.
Jingle Around the Clock (2018)
Favorite Hallmark movie!
This may be their best one yet. The acting was well done, the actors had chemistry, and the plot was great. All the issues that I seem to yell at a typical Hallmark character for (assumptions, lack of communication...) were all addressed in this movie. It was super relatable and realistic. Nice job!
Welcome to Christmas (2018)
Not impressed
I love Eric Mabius. The co-star, not so much. She seems uppity in every movie she's in. I only see her relaxed around the kids in this one, and even that seems a bit forced. The plot is boring, and that's saying a lot for a Hallmark movie (which I watch a lot of). The main stars have no chemistry. And, lastly, the camera work seems shoddy. This was a miss.
