This is without a doubt the dumbest movie I have ever seen, at least for many years. The premise is ridiculous. The story meanders to nowhere and then just ends. I couldn't see if the plot was moving toward something. It did not. The creators of this foolishness really scraped the bottom of the barrel to come up with this absurd story. I don't know how Matt Damon kept a straight face delivering his lines! The whole movie is WAY beneath Christopher Waltz's talent. These guys should be embarrassed. I would have been better off watching paint dry. Hong Chau's performance gave a smile or two, but it was the only measly brightish spot.

This movie was LOUSY. The scenes were ALL too dark, as in not bright enough to see much. The sound was not always clear. There were way too many characters to keep track of. We didn't know who these people were supposed to be. The time that events took place was all jumbled up. There was much to much jumping back and forth in time. The characters all looked alike. The physics information was geared towards 2nd graders. Sex scene at the hearing? Why was there a need to show naked bodies out of context? There was no focus - The bomb story, the science, the wife and girlfriend relationships, the hearings, background stories, the communist angle, Los Alamos. Too much touching on something a little bit but not enough.

I cannot believe this movie got ANY good ratings. It's a bunch of guys crawling through tall grass and occasionally getting blown up. It has no plot. Nothing is made clear about the battle, who is where, what is the objective. I couldn't bring myself to waste my time and finish watching the whole movie. From the very first scene with native islanders you are left wondering what in the world is going on? The characters have NO depth. There are a number of big names in the show but every single one was a total disappointment. You would be better off to spend your evening watching paint dry. One of the worst!!

What a disappointment. As good as Yellowstone is - this is just that BAD. There is a lot of out of place modern dialog, FAKE FAKE southern accents, improbable situations. The actors have bright white perfect teeth, fake hair, fake beards, Elsa has fake blonde hair with dark roots, black eyebrows, dark eyes. The narration is BORING as can be. The immigrants supposedly can't understand English yet the traveling group is given its directions in English. The characters are all amazingly shallow. The scenery is boring, monotonous. The clothing of the women is unrealistically clean and pretty. This show is just a pathetic attempt to capitalize on Yellowstone's success.

Season 5 is a BIG disappointment

The first 4 seasons were spectacular. I was enthralled and recommended the show to everyone I know. The backdrop, the locations, the costumes, the characters, the acting all superb. But this anxiously awaited season 5 is so dramatically different. There are ridiculous situations, poor story development, cheapened sets. It's almost hard to watch. All the characters are unhappy and angry. Queen Elizabeth can apparently do nothing right. Diana seems very shallow and vindictive. A full episode dedicated to the Fayed story was WAY too long and boring. We never did learn how the family got their money and we learned practically nothing about Dodi, we saw a story mostly about his father. Don't waste your time.

This was without a doubt the DUMBEST movie I have ever seen!!! People in the theaters were laughing AT the stupidity. Audience members were talking loud and clear about how awful it was. Almost destroyed my interest in movies altogether.
