Merry Andrew (1958)
Kaye was far too old to believable as love interest for Angeli
Kaye had become far too old to be believable as the love interest for pier Angeli his co star in this rather awkward and rather dull movie and the embarrassing forced English limey accents fall into the dick van Dyke school of mimicry.the songs were not memorable compared to those written by Kaye's wife Sylvia fine for him in his other movies a sad decline was beginning to show in his movies and he was better suited to performing on TV rather than on the big screen.interesting only if you are an avid Danny Kaye fan to add to your collection if available as copies are difficult to obtain from retailers, appears only occasionally on late night showings on turner classic movie channel

a turkey
a sad end to Hawks directorship Wayne is too old and tired and his so called co stars now there's an assumption are hopelessly inadequate and devoid of any acting ability and the reworking of his previous films Rio Bravo and Eldorado becomes painfully and very obviously thin. The beginning is good but then it peters out into a virtual scene by scene re run of Rio bravo and el Dorado, only obtain a copy to add to your Wayne collection and let it gather dust on the shelf and watch the far better Rio Bravo and El Dorado I can only think that Wayne did this movie as a favour or he needed the money for his retirement fund took the money and run
