The Last of Us: Long, Long Time (2023)
So beautiful
Is this a departure from the zombie horror?
Yes.
But it is also a lesson, that in the midst of horror all around us, you can still be a loving, caring human. And a lesson that even the most hateful of us can and will be changed by love. Bring your tissues, you're going to need them.
Major Kudos to Nick Offerman who, while playing "his type" took that type and blew it in a whole new direction. What a beautiful portrayal of a man dragged kicking and screaming into a love he never thought he would have.
Also, love how the show is explaining in tiny nuggets what has happened, rather than dumping it all on the audience in a flashback.
Well done.

A Gem!
This episode is by the best in a series of winners. A beautiful portrait of First Peoples and their wisdom.
The only thing wrong with this show is it isn't an hour long!
