Ai no bôrei (1978)
An Easy Watch
I usually shy away from watching anything that has been shot before the 90's but I'm glad I gave this one a shot as it turns out it was a pretty easy watch. The premise is fairly simple and the themes portrayed still uphold to present day, the movie has good tension (although the horror aspect of it may be kind of lost in time) and it is overall well shot.
The only issue i have with this movie is it's ending. It's too abrupt and you completely drop out of the movie left without a chance to let it sink in.
Teeth (2007)
Freud was right:
Playing into the male fear of castration is what adds the horror element into the movie. I would argue that the premise alone makes this movie worth seeing. Although the film doesn't take itself too seriously (which is a good thing in my opinion) it still explores the idea of sexual freedom for women as having vangina dentata would make women immune to sexual abuse. As near the end of the movie Dawn realizes that what she thought was a curse can be gift as well.
In short; it is a good horror movie with a side of dark humor that explores the themes of chastity, sexual abuse and pubenscence.

Worth a watch
I can say i thoroughly enjoyed this film, the soundtrack was really good and i appreciated how they used water-color like animation to tell a story. It was really refreshing to see how a story can also be told with these rather 'unconventional' lines. Although the animation style is this film's biggest charm, ironically it is also it's biggest issue. At times the animation does feel a little bit jumbled and rushed which makes it a tad bit hard for the viewer to connect with the movie. With all that being said, i absolutely think it is worth a watch.
