Dirty Water (2023)
Truly awful clichéd rubbish
This show is an utter embarrassment to Scotland and Glaswegians in particular. Awful writing and even worse acting. As usual we're all thick and lazy. I would have cut it some slack if I had actually laughed at any point but my girlfriend and I just sat cringing at how truly awful this is. Just incase anyone thinks I'm a snob I grew up in and still live in Castlemilk, Glasgow. Not one original idea and everyone involved in this car crash should hang their head in shame. If this gets another series it truly is the last nail in the coffin of Scottish 'comedy.' I'd have given it 0 stars if possible.
Manifest (2018)
Not the worst thing I've ever watched, but close.
The premise of the show sounded good to me but the truth is it just doesn't have the budget or cast to do it any justice. There are epic levels of 'smell the fart' acting that Joey Tribiani would be proud of. The script at times is just embarrassing and even great actors would struggle to save it. Unfortunately there are no great actors here, They're not all bad but there's still enough wood to build a cabinet or two. I wouldn't normally single out any actors for criticism but Josh Dallas in particular is awful. My girlfriend has continued to watch it but just because she has a thing now for J R Ramirez but I couldn't take anymore after the first series so I painted the house instead just so I could watch it dry. I have no idea why this has 7/10 stars or why Netflix has just taken it on for a fourth series. The mind boggles.
Farzar (2022)
Utter Rubbish.
Just watched the first episode, didn't laugh once. Just go watch brickleberry or paradise pd repeats instead. At least you'll get a cheap puerile laugh there, even if you have seen them before.
Space Force (2020)
I wish this was better
Truth is that it just doesn't know what it's trying to be. Netflix throwing money at names rather than justifying your subscription. Feels like a remake of some bad 80s movie, even though it isn't.
The Royle Family: The New Sofa (2008)
Not worth the bother.
The Royale family is without doubt one of the best sitcoms of the last couple of decades but this Christmas special is embarrassingly awful.
