See below, not enough to describe it in a summary
2 July 2006
This movie was incredibly touching and was one the first movies to touch me in this way.

Previous Adam Sandler movies had started to decline which was a shame because I liked his earlier movies a lot. This is what brought back his former glory.

The story itself was not exactly original but was the first time I've seen a story like this implemented into a movie, I've seen TV shows do the whole life remote control such as a certain goosebumps episode but not in as much detail.

The comedy was laughing out of my seat at some points and the jokes made my day. Being put in a situation where I can humiliate an enemy without any consequences but with funny methods were the highlight of this comedy.

Most of the time I despise movies which are comedy which follow the last 30 minutes acting serious but this was a great exception and felt tears rolling down my face. I've laughed in the face of horror gore scenes and I've kept a straight face in sad movies but this really touched me.

This movie does make you think about your own life. I would love this movie to win the saddest ending as I've never seen an ending like it.

Appeals to me but Not to others
30 June 2006
We all have a different sense of humour to the next guy and this movie truly completes my quest for a surreal comedy.

I love this movie's originality, what other movie is similar to this in anyway? It throws jokes every minute start to end, most comedies don't do that. Instead there's always a serious 5 minutes and will have a weak joke.

Most people will say I'm immature for my opinion but in all fairness, we're afraid of expressing our actual sense of humour. I can see it when I see a person try their hardest not to laugh at a simple fart noise.

Tom Green's purpose was obvious to remove the comedy barrier and do the things that society frowns upon. Initially I though throwing a baby around by the umbilical cord was really bad to do in a comedy but it made me laugh like a child.

My opinion on other people's comments? Either they prefer a different type of comedy or even a genre which I respect or they aren't ready for such a movie.

Date Movie (2006)

Utter Rubbish
28 February 2006
I'm a very generous person when it comes to critique on the subject of movies, books and video games therefore I would usually have a 9 out of ten rating for a good thing and at the lowest 5 out of ten for a bad thing but this movie truly was a waste of my time and deserved the lowest score possible.

After discussing why this movie was so appalling and tedious, its main flaw was the use of too many parodies although I disagree with this fact. It was so awful because it was poorly constructed and written, it took no talent to take parts from other movies and changed it ever so slightly to make it 'funny'. It would have been funny to the writers when they've gone out and gotten drunk, which is probably how they went about to get this piece of rubbish written.

We've all gotten drunk and discussed how to make something funny, however we wouldn't make a movie out of it.

The only thing that was good about the movie was it's cast. They chose the best actors to suit the job and that's the best they could do.

God help them if they chose a different cast that did a poor job on the movie.

The humour was very immature, admittedly I like immature humour but they did a ghastly job on that too.

This movie suits a person with a simple sense of humour such as a 12 year old or someone who prefers a different genre of movie who seeks out for a funny movie.

Ironically this movie is rated for over 15 years old and even people with simple tastes cannot bear this movie.

So I'll warn you now not to go and see this movie at the cinema, I suggest getting it at a very cheap cost such as rental or digging it out at your local video shops bargain bin.

The IT Crowd (2006–2013)
Brilliant
5 February 2006
"The IT crowd" is an excellent comedy but requires the viewer to watch the second episode rather than base their judgement on the first episode then snub the entire series.

The first episode was a decent attempt to gain the viewers approval however, it was hyped far too much, which made the viewer think that "The IT Crowd" was the next best comedy. When the first episode ended, everyone was disappointed due to the lack of good jokes. There were moments in the first episode that somehow reminded me of the great mind of Graham Linehan who was the writer to "Father Ted" and "Black Books" due to random jokes such as the joke in the credits.

The second episode was almost redemption to the first as the cast and Graham Linehan ultimately revealed their true performance. It was almost surreal and had it's connections to "Father Ted" equally weirdness. There was uncontrollable laughter in a lot of areas of the second episode such as the stress class which delivered powerful comedy that would even make "Father Ted" mediocre.

I give this comedy a round of applause and wish for an encore.
