Deadlock (2021)
A poor man's 'Under Seige'
It's such a shame that one time action superstar Bruce Willis is continuing to put his name to such dud movies. This is a poor remake of the 80's classic Under Seige without any of the magic of the Segal blockbuster. The story is thin, the cast are amateur and the action sequences are laughable.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Set Up (2021)
Politically correct dribble
Season 8 has to be the greatest fall from grace I have ever witnessed in a tv series. What an absolute load of politically correct dribble! They should have stopped at season 7.
F9 (2021)
A car crash
So far removed from the original, this movie, and the last 6 don't deserve to carry the name. Yeah, I get it, you make a ton of money off each movie but this is an absolute bludger of a film. Driving a car in space?? You should all be shamed.
Tenet (2020)
No thanks
The movie will last 2.5 hours, but be prepared to spend the next few hours reading various articles to try and make any sense of the dribble you have just watched. The dialogue is horrific with many critics suggesting this film be best watched with subtitles. The story makes no real sense with plenty of scenes appearing to serve as 'fillers' and in no way making any sense or benefiting the story. I would not recommend this movie.
Love, Guaranteed (2020)
A nice simple love story
This flick certainly won't win any awards for its plot, but it's a fun, predictable love story featuring a pretty descent cast, some above average acting against a beautifully shot Seattle backdrop
Line of Duty (2019)
Would not recommend
This probably would have worked as an action comedy with a Martin Lawrence/Eddie Murphy type lead, instead they chose a different path and only succeeding in churning out an absolute bludger of a film that was so unbelievable it sort of makes you laugh anyway. Not the worst film I've seen, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone
Disturbing the Peace (2020)
Actually a step back for Pearce from Neighbours
$5million budget.... what the hell they spend it on? I'm guessing Pearce's salary. What an absolute bludger of a film. Reported $50k made on the film word wide, so lost a cool, $4.95 million on this abortion of a film.
Coffee & Kareem (2020)
Like something from the 90's!
Like something straight from the late 80's or early 90's, think Turner and Hooch, Cop and a half, stop or my mom will shoot. Easy watching, simple plot, good characters. Probably wouldn't watch it with the kids, but worth a watch
The Hunt (2020)
Familiar, but better
We've seen a similar story before, but I think these guys just did it better with a cut to an 'origin scene' just prior to the climax. Plenty of action suspense and bit of a twist at the end
Blinded by the Light (2019)
Can a soundtrack carry a film?
The Bruce Springsteen soundtrack wasn't enough unfortunately to carry this movie. It's just seemed to plod along with no real direction. I found myself only really watching the film to hear the Springsteen classics.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Time travel horror
Unfortunately the cast and characters were not enough to carry this three hours of dribble. Once they decided to take on the time travel theme it really spelt the start of the end. The movie is horrible overcooked and confusing and makes many of the fatal errors shared by other time travel horrors
Home Alone 3 (1997)
Why, just why?
What was John Hughes thinking? Shocking film that held none of the magic or adventure of the first 2. I watched all three in succession with my family and held no expectations at all for this one..... luckily, cos it was an absolute bludger and way to complicated for 3-6 year old kids
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
What was that garbage?
What was that absolute rubbish? The movie just plodded along as if it was building to an all too familiar Tarantino ending. Instead what was served up was some over the top, meaninglessly violent ending that made absolutely no sense to anyone.
Addams Family Reunion (1998)
Just horrible
Just absolute filth. Makes a mockery of all that game before. The story and performances are equally as poor as one another
Yesterday (2019)
What a movie!
A great British rom com, mashed with a soundtrack like no other. Splendid
Escape Plan: The Extractors (2019)
Dear Sly, please stop!
How does such a great movie spawn two horrific sequels?? What a bludger of a film. The whole thing is just a mess.
Aladdin (2019)
Magical
Every bit as magical as the original. Guy Ritchie very rarely misses the mark and he was bang on with this one. Great family fun
Killing Gunther (2017)
1 star is generous
This movie does not even deserve 1 star. What a bludger of a film!
Escape Plan 2: Hades (2018)
Horrible!
Given how good the first film was, despite the poor reviews, I was always going to watch this one. Even my love of Sylvester Stallone wasn't enough to get this movie over the line. Horrible, just horrible
