Valeria (2020)
If you like Girls and miss the show. Meet Valeria.
You can notice that Valeria is very inspired by the tv show Girls. The main character is a writer, she have her friends that are always there for her, fights, love, sex and everything. There is something really new and different? No. But I don't see this as a problem. It's fresh, it brings problems and discussion from 2020 society. It's funny, nice and relatable. There is a plus that's has the latin fire and latin drama.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019)
Is the same as the ending of the series
It's always amazing to see our favorite characters again, but honestly it's not because we like to see, that we should.
The end of breaking bad was epic. It was one of the best TV ending. All characters have their closure. The movie is not bad, it's nice. But doesn't have a purpose, Jessie story was closured. He got out. He was free. What happened to him after? Doesn't matter.
The end of this movie is technically the same that the end that he had on the show. Nothing new.
By saying that, the movie is good for the fans of the show to see once more their favorite characters, but it doesn't have anything relevant to add to the story.
Love, Death & Robots (2019)
Good, but some are not
As it is an anthology, each episode is independent. Therefore some episodes are really good, very interesting (like the second one, the yogurt one, the good hunt, Zima Blue), some are ok, and others are awfull.
Coisa Mais Linda (2019)
It could be better, but it's okay
As a Brazilian I'm very happy to see a original drama, historical and musical tv series, that has great actors and photography. It has some problems like the dialogues, which are not that convincing if you understand Portuguese, but for others I think that this won't be a problem. The characters are good written and the plot is ok, some stuff could be worked better and more carefully. In the end is a mix of the Las Chicas del Cable with Marvelous Mrs Maisel.
