How I Met Your Father (2022)
Why are women based programs remakes of male leads?
First episode was BAD- it has grown a bit and I do enjoy the actors but the jokes are CHEESY- like saved by the bell humor. They have like ability and it's the only thing that has Kept me watching.
Side note * it's interesting so many people commended Kim Cattrall for not rejoining Sex And the City reboot but she chose this narrative role.
Clickbait (2021)
It would be a 1 star if I was rating the last episode.
It started off great, I couldn't stop watching. This story had a lot of mystery and the actors were great and then...... the last episode. It was like the writer didn't know how to end their story and just threw in the towel. So stupid, made no sense. I'm ALL for shocking endings but this was just plain dumb. Why in the world if you had just gotten free from certain death would you run to the place that you knew they were to blame?.?. And then why in the world would this women pretend to be you and take it this far?.?. So many other questions.... It was just so dumb and I felt dumb for giving it any time.
History of Swear Words (2021)
Yawn!
Less of a history more of a commentary and honestly it got rather boring. Actors expressing their opinions on curse words isn't exactly informative. Totally not offended by these swear words and it wasn't very entertaining.
Like Father (2018)
Refreshing!
Like Father is a nice, refreshing change from most the movies out there. Kelsey Grammer and Kristen Bell have great connection as a father who is trying to reconnect with the daughter he left at 5. They take a cruise that is intended for her honeymoon and find a way to piece together their relationship. This almost made me want to schedule a fun cruise with the fun group of newlyweds they befriend during the voyage. I highly recommend for a light, well acted entertaining evening.
The Handmaid's Tale: Holly (2018)
Slow but important
I was a bit disappointed on this episode, the whole season has been amazing and this episode was definitely important but wish it wasn't as slow. I am being selfish because I realize it's almost the end of the season and I don't want any episode to drag. The moment between the Waterford's showed how their life and marriage are falling apart and the fear that comes with that. It was a beautiful moment with June and Holly with lots of anticipation with who has arrived at the end of the scene. This series is amazing and provides so much more insight that the book never had a chance to tell. It's a must see!
