In Search of Fellini (2017)

Childhood trip to adulthood

The fact that a movie kept me with eyes wide open at 2 am is a good start.

I have read another review somewhere that you will dig this movie if you are a true romantic, and that is definitely true. You have to be a romantic to brush off some movie moments and concentrate on the actual story and the way it is filmed, which is beautifully. All the dangers are portrayed really well,as well as the capture of the beauty.

Having explored Italy twice not so long ago, it was even easier to sink in to the story, not knowing much about Fellini ( bad, when you are actually watching a movie about connections to Fellini) I will now have to familiarise myself with some of his movies. Which I am looking forward to!

Overall, I loved this movie, it is a very positive and heart warming story.

Girlboss (2017)

This was really, really hard to watch. The main character is so annoying, and I think the choice of an actress was not right, the acting is so forced and fake.

after watching this it made me really dislike Sophia. And that comes from a person that has really looked up to Nasty Gal when it was running full on ( now that it is under a new ownership it lost it's spirit ).

It left me non inspired rather than otherwise. After watching this, i just want to be anything but like Sophia.

13 Reasons Why (2017–2020)

decided to watch this show due to reviews, but it really isn't as great as it is rated.

it is a stretched out show and i can't help but think that high ratings were achieved purely because of teenagers drooling over the cast in the show.

at the end of the day, yes, this is a hard topic happening in people lives , kids doing what Hannah did and family struggling through it later, but I just could not get the whole idea of this show.

it is silly. Clay is clay for sure.

American Conjuring (2016)

Easily gotta say that the worst part about this was the acting. It was really sad. Too forced and just...BAD.

the real horror in this movie is the horrifying thought of realizing that you have wasted your time on it.

story line...seen in so many movies before, no special twists or anything like that, so you are stuck between pushing terrible acting thoughts and knowing what's going to happen anyway.

I guess that's a good one when you are really bored or can't be bothered about what's on the screen. BAD.

The Snare (2017)

Sometimes you're in a real bad luck when you come across a movie. This is the case.

This has to be one of the most dumb movies I've ever ended up watching ( almost watching), as I could not continue wasting my time on this crap. Without reaching the end of it,it made me annoyed and angry that these kind of movies are even made.

People get stuck in a building, in the rooms that have curtains and bed sheets and so on, but instead of trying to spend their time on making a rope to climb down, they choose to sit around day after day, turn in to psychos and so on ( not to spoil too much for the ones that will decide to watch it..). really really stupid plot makes it unwatchable .

In overall, the only good part, not even 2 minutes, are the English nature views. Other than that...jeez. awful from all perspectives.

The Neon Demon (2016)

Jeez, what a 2 hour rubbish this was.

Had to turn it off when it reached the middle realizing there's still an hour of this crap.

Firstly, really don't get all the Fanning rage, in each movie I actually got to see with her, the acting is just so poor.

The other actors like Keanu must have been paid well to take part in such a thing.

Really sad thing happening in Hollywood these days, when models decide they can act.

Utterly weird and not in a good way.

Lake Eerie (2016)

the acting was not so great. Cheaply made movie, special effects were rather funny.

By the middle of the movie had to start fast forwarding as it felt boring and got annoying.

Many horror movies tend to have really silly moments, and it's usually something so simple, like why would you light a candle in order to look through the window? or would you be lighting a candle rather than holding the knife like crazy if you were really scared? By the time she actually did it you could travel to Mexico and back.

Overall not convincing at all.

The Last Kingdom (2015–2022)

Gave it a go, didn't catch my attention at all.

Haven't read the books, so just watching it as it is.

Somewhat everything in the episodes feels rushed and messy.

There is a definite try to create sparks between characters and make them click, but it's just not happening, not for me at least. Trying to cover things with sex scenes is an old trick that hardly works here too.

Something's just missing, can't really put together as to what, it is a hard job to make a show as such as interesting as GOT did, so maybe that's it.

Orange Is the New Black (2013–2019)

Love it

I love this show.

It wasn't love at the first sight though, I think I have understood this show is great as late as the end of the 2nd season, but once you get it you love it!

Last season end was such a heartbreak and leaves you waiting for what's next ,so much!

I love how stories of these ladies are uncovered one by one, little by little, and though this is classed as comedy, to me it is more than that. As much as they show things in the funny light, so much of this show is real life based and really makes you feel for the characters and their stories.

Great show, can't wait for another season!

Train to Busan (2016)

Pretty awesome

I was kind of skeptical at first about this movie, but decided to give it a go and watch it.

That was not a waste of time.

Being a fan of The walking dead, World War Z, 28 days later and so on, this will be a definite addition to the list of great zombie movies.

The youngest actress is captivating with her emotions,great talent. Good plot,great cast, characters you get to love and feel sad about, even shed a few tears too!

Overall very impressed, now I am in a mood to look for more Korean movies to watch!
