Peaky Blinders: Lock and Key (2022)

Peaky Blinders
14 June 2022
Anthony Byrne ruined these last 2 seasons. He tried way too hard to be depressing and dark. He took away the excitement and the suspense this show was known for for 4 seasons. He took away the red right hand he just took away peaky blinders and gave the fans no satisfaction. The writing was also a problem but not as huge as Anthony Byrne. He ruined this series when he took over and produced the 2 weakest seasons this series offered. This season wasn't peaky blinders it was a disappointment and to end the show like that is not okay. No fan service no original interactions no character tie up or love. Too many storyline it was just too much for 1 season.

Dear Billy
28 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I have waited so long for an episode like this. They have moved passed the younger child based content/story lines and finally transitioned into a more mature story line. Max is incredible in this episode. The visuals and the Vecnar character are terrifying and that home invasion shootout at the Byers, not to mention seeing a relationship between Max and her mother finally starting to develop. Duffer brothers definitely went back to the roots of ST and have really came out punching. Also the Hopper storyline is getting very interesting with Joyce and Murray now captured as well and Victor Creel is a whole nother subject. Best season to date and I am relieved to see the old Stranger Things again.

Warning: Spoilers
1883's Penultimate episode did not disappoint. The story line and plot whatever you want to call it has shifted completely, every actor being tested. More violent interactions with the indians and the story line of the Duttons slowly starting to reveal itself making it clear that Oregon is not where they end up. Solid episode 9/10.

Slow burn

Warning: Spoilers
Not a bad episode. Definitely not as good as last week's. Also being that this is the Yellowstone universe why cast a character from modern day Yellowstone? (Agent Hennon). Makes no sense.

You really let me down Taylor Sheridan.
3 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This whole season was a massive disappointment. There was no narrative or real plot. You left so many questions and the tone was so dull. I love Yellowstone but this season was tough to get through. John and company were completely separated from kayce as if he is not even related to him anymore. Why have Garrett Randall and johns encounter in the diner with threats thrown just for Jamie to be the one to kill him. There was no satisfaction and no excitement. Season 4 was a 1883 and 6666 promotion. Taylor has just given up and turned this to a soap. Focused on other projects trying to run 4 shows at once. I am waiting for season 5 with hopes we might see the REAL Yellowstone again.

Drop the Narriations
29 December 2021
This show is so far very different from Yellowstone and successful in its own way. This story does interest me more than the modern Era that Yellowstone is. Sam Elliott and Tim Mcgraw are outstanding. Drop the narrations otherwise 10/10.

Rust Cohle is why you should watch this show.
24 December 2021
I have never in my life seen such a delicate and damn near perfect project put onto a TV screen. Matthew McConaughey as Rust Cohle and Woody Harrelson as Marty Hart put together chemistry and show an untouchable level of acting. This show dives so deep into the ugly and deep dark desires and horrors of life as we know it. Rust Cohle had me in my head for days trying to understand if what he's saying is true or not. The writing is beautifully crafted the cinematography and music backgrounds all fit perfectly. However.. seasons 2 and 3 were polar opposite. This season one should have been continued with the story they constructed seeing as how there was so much history and present day problems and pathways to be taken that were all missed opportunities by making this an anthology series. I loved season 1 and would appreciate a continuation of the carcosa story line along with Maythew and Woody reprising what is possibly the greatest performances of their careers. Season one 11/10.

Slow burn
29 November 2021
Last 2 episodes have only shifted story lines very little. Too much in between the writers are sort of veering off course. Hopefully 2nd half of season ramps up. So far this season is a little disappointing.

Warning: Spoilers
Wow wow wow this was sooo good. It doesn't matter what side you pick both sides are evil and that's the bare truth. The shootout was expected but definitely delivered more than I anticipated. Poor Carlos suffered a terrible fate but another lesson to the Escobar family that this life has no mercy for those who choose to be in it. Wagner Moura is Pablo Escobar! Watching him pick up that gun and get on the Frontline with his men to protect his family and show he is still just as savage as he was in the beginning.

Taylor Sheridan is one of the best writers in TV history.

Man this season is sooo good so far. The dialogue and the character development is unbelievable, that opening scene was not what I anticipated and quite frankly shocked me to open an episode like that considering the slow burn buildup process that Taylor likes to use. This is a different feeling this season. It is so damn good you can not predict what will happen. You kind of just sit and let it happen. This show is incredible and I can not wait until Sunday.

Michael Is Back
16 October 2021
Michael returns and leaves nobody alive in his path. Not nearly as violent as promised but the kills are pretty intense. Personal opinion set aside this movie is good for what it is, David Gordon Green put together a great number of ideas and executed almost every single one. 9/10 Bring on the last chapter.

What the hell Zombie
14 September 2021
This movie is so awful to start. The violence and kills are amazing as they were in the previous one. However every thing in between is a loss for words, story line goes off the tracks I wasn't even sure I was watching a sequel. 1 and done would have been better. This wasn't a movie that you casually watch it is brutal and the story line is dogshit. Why leave characters just to kill them off anyways What even was the bracket story line? Like come on it was the 1st movie with more blood and worse acting. 1st one very good. Skip this one.

This should have been a standalone film.
9 September 2021
This for me was one of the more underrated horror films out there. The writing was pretty spot on not really much to complain about there my only issue was special effects. I would have liked more realistic gore and whatnot but overall terrific kills and I really thoroughly enjoyed this one. And ONLY this one Part 2 is definitely not worth seeing.

Ragnar Lothbrook
16 July 2021
Seasons 1-3 and the 2nd half of season 4 are the best this show has to offer. But the rest is easily forgetful I do not remember a single scene that moved me or stuck with me. Ragnar was what made this show great. Vikings is brutal and has some very dark and complex moments. First 3 seasons 10/10 season 4 7/10. Spinoff would have been better for the sons. Ragnar deserved better and Michael Hirst didn't execute.
