The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window (2022)
Not what it appears to be
I went through some of the top reviews and noticed that viewers re missing a lot in this. The interesting thing about this series is that facts are not recognizable. I have three examples here:
1- Every time that Anna goes to her daughter's grave, the writing on the grave stone has changed. Does she dream about visiting her daughter's grave? Is the daughter even real?
2- When in episode 5 Rex forces Anna to text Douglas, the contact name on Anna's phone reads "Douglas". But in Episode 8 when Douglas finds Anna's phone on the street, the contact name has changed to psychiatrist. Is Douglas even real? Is he really her ex-husband or he always has been her psychiatrist?
3- This one is a little bit tricky. When she is apprehended for homicide, she is out the next day. I'm not sure about the regulations in that state, but it's not believable that they let loose a prime suspect like that.
4- Finally, the way everything goes well and everyone apologizes her, it's cliché to a level that it's not consistent with other parts of the series. That makes me believe that its all in her mind, particularly when she repeats one phrase to everyone about how she feels now.
All in all, there's more to this series that catches the eyes.
RoboCop (2014)
Politically motivated & fake copy
From the start to the end, there is no originality and the story-line is politically motivated.
Kingdom: No Sharp Objects (2016)
So far the best episode
Emotionally, my opinion is that this episode is the deepest one. No spoilers though.
The Informer (2019)
Great Drama thriller
Another great work by Joel Kinnaman. A nice combination of drama, action, and police. Well-written scenario, good pace, no waste.
Inglourious Basterds (2009)
Waste of time
The whole story could be wrapped up in 1 hour, not 2:30. And the movie is in 3 languages! On the one hand, they want to keep the originality by having it in 3 languages. On the other hand, they distort thre history. What's gonna be then?
Robin Hood (2018)
Great story, nice action
If you are not a triggered snowflake, extremely rich, a religious fenatic or right-winger, you will definitly enjoy the story and the action. As the narrator says, it's not a bed time story.
Messiah (2020)
Typical Propaganda & Uneducated on the matter
The minimum requirement for making a TV series that depicts cultural and religion situation in the Middle-East is knowing the languages of that area. The CIA agent reads a report from a mental hospital in Iran in Episode 9. Shockingly, the report is written in Arabic and English. How uneducated the director and all the people involved must be to let a blunder like that happens? Couldn't they find at least one Persian speaking person around? Is the series that much low-budget? Wow.
The Good Cop (2018)
Nice and funny
If you look for something that cheers you up, do not lose it. The characters are just as simple as needed, without adding too much complication and drama.
