Yesterday... my life was better
2 April 2022
, because I had not yet seen this booooring unnecessarily loooong documentary.

This is my second review of a movie. I was born 69 to a mother that was one huge Beatles fan. So, The Beatles had been in my life forever. If the director had shown more of how they finished their album, I would feel more satisfied. I really didn't enjoy this movie.

My first review after having watched and rated thousands of movies, this is how impressed I was. Great cast, authentic performance, superb soundtrack. This movie about iconic tennis player Boris Becker nailed it.

i expected more....

I'm very sorry to say this - but this movie was sooooo a "B"-Movie. when i saw the trailer i got really excited and wanted badly to see the movie. so talked into the minds of my friends until i finally found one to go with me.

i liked the start, which was VERY convincing although already in the beginning scenes i thought that this girl LISA (rachel McAdams) maybe was mother Teresa. toooo sweet and so on. i also think her acting was not convincing.

i liked the acting of Cillian Murphy and hopefully we'll see him in more movies showing his talent.

to the story of the film i just can say it was a not-to-believe-story. i don't want to give away details, but what jack (cillian Murphy) was able to do while wounded is just impossible. the same for Lisa (rachel McAdams). i must admit a laughed out loud a few times, but i think that wasn't in mind of the directors or producers....

REX 4ever

I'm Austrian but not living there. Whenever I see Rex I become home-sick. I know all the places where the series where shot and the people are real Austrians. Their behavior, their WURSTSEMMEL (this is the bread Rex ant the policemen always eat), their cars,..... it's all sooo real.

I wish I could see it in my mother-tongue but so far I wasn't lucky. I've seen it in dutch and Spanish so far and it makes me laugh how they spell the austrian names.

I'm glad this series was such a success that I can watch it almost anywhere in the world. Also in the Dominican Republic where I will live in the near future.
