Night Gallery: The Dead Man/The Housekeeper (1970)
The only episode of Night Gallery I remember
I remember this episode, well, really only the end of the episode, because it kept me up for nights after I saw it. Earlier that day I took a walk around a local cemetery, spending several hours there looking over the tombstones. It was as if I couldn't tear myself away from the place. Later that night, I watched this episode of "Night Gallery." When the coffin opened up and the corpse popped out, I nearly jumped out of my skin. The hair, the long nails, these are the images that kept this 10-year-old awake for many night after viewing the show. I couldn't even watch Carl Betz in anything for a long time after that. Indeed, a terrifying resurrection. Well put, Mr. Garrard!

Funny movie, even funnier commentary track
I, for some reason, loved this movie. The absolute funniest part, though, is the commentary track. It features only some of the male cast members, who dish on the girls, so it's a little one-sided. These guys obviously loved working with each other and it shows in their comments. They spend the entire movie not talking about the movie and it's hilarious. They take cell phone calls, take a meeting on the phone with one of their agents, talk about other movies (including a great spoof on "Good Will Hunting") and end up punching each other out during the commentary session. Their take on one of the extras in the movie is also very funny, but I hope the guy never listens to it. Check it out!
